I've noticed more of the GIANTS logo being featured on the social media pages when they include graphics in posts that they make. I noticed the red shirts on Shep and Toney on the front page here that say GIANTS
I wonder if there is a uniform change coming down the line? They could really use an update IMO. Need to get some red outlined into the home uniform and some blue outlined into the road uniform. Unless they adopted the Color Rush for the road uni.
I was thinking with (finally) an entire regime in the front office and coaching staff it might be a good time to do it. New era of football.
I do think it's a bit of a challange now fitting the word "Giants" on the side of the NEW helmets. (Compare the photos of LT and Jones in this thread and you'll see what I mean.)

Totally agree. Much classier uniform. I like the newer metallic blue helmet color, but with the Simms/LT era GIANTS logo.
This is why they need to make the white away throwbacks the normal uniform.

I don't think there's really as much of a connection to the 80's and 90's uni's as people think. The Giants have been wearing the NY on their helmet for 22 years. A whole generation of fans only knows the color rush uniforms which are probably associated with these terrible teams for young fans. They've not won a game wearing them. They had more success with the red jerseys everyone hated.
It would be cool and I think they would look great but I don't think we'll see it. I'd love for them to introduce a home alternate though.

Me too. These are much better than our current uniforms; especially the current road uni's. They're just blah.
I love the saquon edit here. You rarely see teams with off color'd helmets and jerseys. Is there any background info to why the giants did that in the 80s. Always a slightly darker shade of blue on the helmet than the jersey. I feel like in the 80s with the grainy footage it didn't look out of place....today with things shot in 8K i wonder how it would look.
The only thing the current unifirms need is to switch the red on the aways to blue.
Now that the team is run by ex-Bills guys, maybe they'll make the switch ;>)

That said, I prefer the color of the new helmets.
Helmets were more for qbs to identify which team they were throwing to. At least 10% of men are color blind, i don’t know % of athletes are, but helmets, pattern and color are important for qbs and not just for looks.
So that should be taken into account. If I were a GM I would administer color tests to at least qbs,if not whole teams.
As for the logo on helmets I prefer the NY as I grew up,with that. I hated the AFL look on Giant helmets and,glad,they only used,that for a minimal # of,years.

I agree with Jim up the road from me in Tampa. When I was a kid in the 70s, the team stunk but those "ny" helmets looked like magic. They stink again, but I still feel that it's the best uniform in all of sport.
