Not sure this means alot, but I watched the beginning of Patricia Traina's podcast following yesterday's OTA.
She said that red jerseys for players coming back from some sort of injury is new under Daboll vs the last 2 coaches, and claimed that this resulted in the players doing certain drills on the field, rather than spending the day on the sideline with the trainers. (And ultimately that this will keep their skills from getting rusty.)
Not sure if that's true. But hopefully they are actually working towards starting the season ready to actually play instead of treating September as a virtual preseason.
I think Daboll will bring a lot of that to New York
It's probably true to a degree.
All jokes aside when are you going to move on?

Jokes aside, I've already moved on
I'm not sure if this is in response to my original post. I wasn't saying there's a mystery, was pointing out Traina's claim that the injured players are getting more/better practice time compared to the previous regimes.

Daboll said that the players wearing red would vary from little activity to being more involved, depending on their particular situation.
The red jerseys have been around for quite some time.
about right...

We don't know anything about any of the red jersey guys other than you connect the dots on the obvious ones (Gates, Peart, etc.).
We don't know why guys like Roche, Golladay, Toney, Douglas, Brown, etc.).
Truly a great, rewatchable flick.
This year is slightly more important. Install new offense and defense.

Giants have been just fine over the years whether guys show up or not...

Again…
It's astounding that people say things like this when the head coach says the opposite.
It's like hiring a plumber and then proceeding to tell him how to do his job.
This is something I have Ben wondering about as well, haven’t seen anything reported on Williams but he looked like a real find before the injury. Your 100% right that his health will be huge part of have some solid DB depth, really rooting that he comes back strong.
100%. Lose some winnable games early on and it spirals. Golladay saying publicly that the offense would start slow because they haven't had time to gel was a bad sign.
