Correct but if you check the count, I think Garcia may have more starts than the rest of the candidates combined.
I think Lemieux is the current front runner as of now because he was the starter going into last season and he flashed during his rookie season. The coaching staff has not had a chance to evaluate Ezeudu in practice yet because there is no contact in OTA's. Once the hitting starts in camp we will see who the real front runner is.
Lemieux being the current starter doesn't mean much right now. For the record I am a fan of Lemieux but he has to show significant progress in pass pro or else Ezeudu or Garcia will replace him as the starter.
I love the competition and I love the sizable upgrade we now have on the line. Let’s hope our tackles can stay healthy all year. We don’t seem to have depth there like we do on the inside.

Gono is a bit light but I think he was in line to be a starter for Atlanta before he hurt his shoulder. Also, the 2 drafted rookie guards could be coached up to be backups at tackle.
“Do I stay on my man, and let the free rusher go, or do I pass my guy off and hope a teammate does his job, although he probably won’t?” Too often, he made the wrong choice, or no choice at all.
Can’t hold 2020 against him too much. He probably shouldn’t have been in the lineup yet. This is the year. Put up or shut up.
Judge was a big fan of his and it appears new staff have taken a shine to him as well. Needed to develop his game further obviously but if he has taken a few steps forward then it will only push guys like Bredeson, Garcia and the rookies all the more.
How nice it would be to have some solid options at the Guard spot and a bit of depth to boot.
We really haven’t seen Lemieux play since end of 2020 season.

Though the reps vs Denver we’re limited, Skinner thought his pass pro looked MUCH better than as a rookie. If he keeps the competition on the bench that would be GREAT news. There’s a Very good chance the best unit on the whole team may be the OL. And no, not because the rest of the team stinks, but because there would be quality ans good depth across the whole line.
If the team exceeds expectations this year, THAT will be why.
