I would rather watch the last preseason game than the Pro Bowl.
Things I will watch in order:
1.) Playoff football (I never miss one)
2.) Regular season Giants games
3.) Regular season other team's games
4.) college bowl games
5.) college regular season games
4.) Preseason Giants games
5.) other team's preseason games
6.) re-runs of old Giants games
7.) re-runs of other team's games
8.) Canadian football
9.) USFL
10.) XFL
11.) Rugby
12.) Australian League Football
1,042,590.) The Pro Bowl
Get rid of it and replace it with absolutely nothing. NFL has more than enough events and the Super Bowl is going on at this time so we don't need anything.
Football has so many teams and so many players per team, that just having an all-star team is probably insufficient. Let each conference pick a team, including a single back-up per position, and then pick a combined team.
Than an nba “playoff “ game sorry but between that and hockey I just can’t take “playoffs” seriously when 8/10 teams in a conference get a post season birth.
I was pissed I missed when my phone broke and had to buy a new one . Still better than car racing or golf or hose racing or nba or hockey . I hueee I’m not alone
Get rid of the game and the silly alternates system
If they decided to put it back in HI then, I’m sure more players would attend but, it still wouldn’t move the needle ratings wise.
Here’s an idea, just replace it with an NFL Experience each year in a state without an NFL team. That way, families who don’t usually get to attend an NFL game can at least get that.
I really cannot remember the last time I watched it.
Loved that as a kid. Just have a skills competition for all positions. An OL skills competition could be incredible. Lifting/strong man style events. A tug of war competition. Imagine a divisional competition where 2 lineman from each team in the division square off against other divisions.
There are so many possibilities, all of which would be more interesting than the pro bowl. Hell, I'd rather watch an NFL baking competition than the pro bowl.
players are paid so much now that, they either don’t care or don’t want to go to avoid an injury. Even in a skills competition, they could still get hurt by some fluke and, for what? Carnival games like throwing a football through a tire? Just isn’t worth it. Even if the risk is decidedly minimal.

They used to get a free trip to Hawaii and that was probably a nice perk when you were only making $100,000.00 a season. Now the best players make routinely 8 figures a year. Who cares about a free trip to Hawaii when you can buy your own island?

That's a good idea. I bet more people would watch (I probably still wouldn't but maybe).
Make it interesting.
Yeah its pretty mindboggling. This year ratings were down 17% but still had 6.69 Million viewers.
That's more than NBA playoff games.
I guess it's all about the money. But does anyone actually watch it?
Agree, I'd much rather watch a skills comp than players half assing around, not hitting. The pro bowl has been a waste for years now.
2001 for me
Maybe add some sort of fan fest for fans to interact with players like Wrestlemania

Bring back the quarterback challenge and call it a day. I wouldn't want my wide receiver blowing out his knee doing some silly event.

I have not interest in the pro-bowl. Nothing is at stake for my team or the league.
(I kid.)
How many people remember that?

Just send all the probowl players into the octagon to fight it out for a big cash prize. Or I'd rather watch them play a Madden or poker tournament.
I like the skills competition idea.
What I'd like even more is just to get rid of the week between the Conference Championships and Superbowl.

I do. It lingered as a zombie event long after it stopped being competitive or interesting.

Well, about 6 million people did, but I can't imagine why.
