It is amazing how much damage Daniel has done to that organization. I remember growing up when Washington was one of the preeminent franchises in the league & he's turned them into a joke. I've never lived in the DMV so I don't have the hatred towards them like those who live there do, but man...he did a # on that organization.

The scary thing is, outside of his legal woes, he's not even the worst owner in the DMV - Angelos is worse.
For a guy that made his money in marketing, Snyder apparently sucks at that too. They missed numerous golden opportunities to make a new name and still keep most of the old mantras.
They could have named them the "Pig Skins" and just tweaked their fight song and kept their short name. "The Skins".
They also have "War Path" in their fight song quite prominently. They could have named the team the "Washington War Path". It not only ties to their past, but it actually sounds better overall.
The Commanders was about the biggest miss they could have come up with. I almost wonder if DS knows he's on the way out and decided to leave the new owner in a bad spot.
