They never take a day or off. I agree Judge needs a rest one of these days. 6 straight games in CF on turf in Toronto and Tampa. He'll sit one of the games in Tampa I bet.

Best baseball team I've ever watched. Hands down. Not even close.
Holy fuck.
They’re in the conversation for sure. I’d still put the 98 team above them but that’s also knowing they did it for a whole year and finished the job.
This team has that same mojo going and no doubt could very well be even better. They are off to a better start as hard as that is to believe and I’m enjoying the hell out of them. I’d love to see them better that 98 team.
I remember Torre being asked if the 98 team was the best team ever, and he said he didn’t know but they’re in the conversation and that’s good enough. Always loved that answer and if they keep this up, this team would be in that same conversation.
lost the strike zone????Chapman got 5 strikes and still walked..
Bring on the robo umps. I’m tired of these guys missing so many pitches. Why is it players can put in all the work to get better but these guys just seem to stroll along with no consequence?
You know they’re bad when even Judge moans about strike calls.
And how many ab's have these incompetent fuckers in blue cost him? While the immortal Matt Chapman gets 6 strikes to play with in the same spot 2 innings ago.
to end their winning streak, but you can't complain too much.
Although I will say Castro can't be trusted. You need to bring him into a clean inning, not with men on base. His lack of command can be costly, and it was. On to the Trop.
They get McClanahan tonight, he is tough, easy gas.

Interestingly, Castro actually struck out Chapman twice. Two clearly in the strike zone pitches that somehow the umpire flatly missed - one right after the other. That would have been the 3rd out.

.
I thought the umpire missed one pitch, but the ump didn't let up the grand slam.
I didn't have a good feeling after that one, but they won the series, they can move on.
Peralta has to throw more than changeups as well, he threw four in a row, and he got bit by the last one.
Seems really unfair to blame Castro for being wild.
He threw 2 strikes to a hitter that were called balls. One of them wasn't even debatable. It wasn't on the black, it was over the heart of the plate. There were other borderline pitches by him that went the other way. It was brutal and caused him to throw a meatball. He gets a pass from me because that umpire destroyed him.

The 1st one was 99mph FB about 4 inches above belt high. The follow up slider was about a ball diameter higher than the FB, but both clearly and entirely in the zone(not touching the edge of the box) - which he had been calling all day. Both balls well within the entirety of the box. Flat out blown calls.
Point was, the inning should have been over. But, just like with a fielding error, you cannot give a great hitting team like the Jays 4 or 5 outs.
And let's face it, Judge did not have a great two days at the plate. He missed a lot of meatballs and opportunities to drive in runs.
However 5 of 6 from the Rays and Jays is probably better than anyone expected no matter how it happened. Take 2 of 3 from the Rays again, and we should be very happy.
Let's see if they can sweep these guys.
What the hell was that? Why was he standing out there half way to 2nd base?
WTF was all the shitty breaking balls to Bichette???
Gleybers says - well that is one back...
If Cobb can do it, anyone can do it.
He is just the co-best player in baseball.
6-2
What a change. Someone is earning their money behind the scenes.
He is just the co-best player in baseball.
What is not to like!
Holy fuck.
They have a chance

Yep, teams always say how they can’t give the good teams extra outs but what about this clown giving extra strikes? Castro threw five to Chapman!
At 8-3 it wasn't a bad time. Face it, he was virtually out of the inning before the guy lost the strike zone.
Ah well.
correction B team bullpen demoloshed.
oh and fuck Hernandez for pimping that. Time for our answer.
Yep, I yelled at the tv when they were showing that stupid jacket, “look at the standings”

Seriously...pimp jobbing HR's when your down 12 games. Pathetic.

Castro yes, but Wandy is solid. He made one bad pitch. Didn't give up any solid contact outside of that.
10-9
I fucking wonder why there are so many strikeouts today.
I think the same. We are down Britton, Chapman, Green and Loasiga.
Rizz time.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads on the board.
Toronto can hit and that was the bottom part of the bullpen. Gonna happen sometimes. Just focus on Tampa now.
This thread got a bit ahead of itself it seems too, and it put the jinx on them. Don’t do that again. 😉
