Does anyone use them?

I travel often (and have an upcoming trip with lots of moving around) so was thinking about getting a 4-pack for suitcases/backpacks.

They're pretty expensive ($25 each) but it seems like if you are an iPhone user (I have a 13 Pro) the functionality is great - especially in comparison to the "Tile" products.

Would appreciate any insight - thanks!
My daughter uses it.....but for her dog.

one of the tags is still on my luggage (she used one of my travel bags) which I didn't even know about until the popup on my iphone happened after landing at my destination. It works really really well from what I can tell.

Here's a pretty good review and the only reason I can tell it didn't get 5 stars is if you aren't an iPhone user.

Yes I use them on car keys.

Expensive to replace those. Also have helped find my sons keys on numerous opportunities when he miss places them.I think they are great!

How does she like it for dogs? We've tried all kinds of expensive GPS things for dogs and none of them work.
I do not own any myself but considering it

Due to recent events in my neighborhood. I live in an affluent neighborhood but not stuffy everyone is casual most park their vehicles in the driveway and street a lot of the times. Well last month we had a string of burglaries throughout the entire neighborhood over 40 break ins of vehicles and garages due to once they broke into the car, they used the door opener and cleaned out the garage.

I was fortunate we always park in my garage, but one victim had guns stolen from his trunk unloaded but guns in a lockbox and had one of the Airtags in it. The sheriff’s department was able to use that information to help apprehend the crew. They are currently changed with over 100 counts from larceny, vehicle theft to possession of illegal firearms in addition they found a missing underage girl who had been missing from PA we live in NC.

So long story short at least in this case it seems well worth the investment IMO.

Apple should put this in a commercial for these things.
I really don't think its even that expensive

things like this are all relative. Typically you want something like this to avoid losing a bag of valuables. You can also use it for any number of other applications. $25 to not have to drop $500 on a new set of keys, bare minimum?

I meant moreso in comparison to Tile, which is their competitor
I missed that part
UConn4523 : 6/22/2022 4:05 pm : link
but isn't Tile more expensive and subscription based? I haven't researched either in a while but my wife has used both and she seems to like the AirTags more.

Tile is cheaper and does not require a subscription.
