One of my favs is 'Chances Are' which is a comedy/fantasy about reincarnation.

From rotten tomatoes:

'A man's love for his pregnant wife, Corinne Jeffries (Cybill Shepherd), is interrupted when a car accident sends him to heaven. He is reincarnated, however, and two decades later he is a writer named Alex Finch (Robert Downey Jr.). But when Alex starts dating Miranda Jeffries (Mary Stuart Masterson) -- his all-grown-up daughter from his previous life -- he remembers his love for Corinne. This spells trouble for his past-life best friend, Philip Train (Ryan O'Neal), who is now pursuing Corinne.'

Good Times!

Not really, although both involve the afterlife.

"Chances Are" more closely resembles 1941's "Here Comes Mr. Jordan" (as Variety noted in its review of the film). HCMJ was originally titled "Heaven Can Wait," but the title was changed shortly before its release. That title was then used for the 1943 film starring Gene Tierney and Don Ameche.

"Here Comes Mr. Jordan" was remade in 1978 as "Heaven Can Wait" with Warren Beatty, and again in 2001 as "Down To Earth" with Chris Rock.

I also enjoyed “Heart and Souls (also with RDJ, 1993), in which a child (and later, an adult) is haunted by ghosts of people who were in an accident but who never got to wrap up their lives properly before they died. Good flick!
Thanks for the responses guys!

Watched LICORICE PIZZA last night. Underwelming. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5 starts and I'm a big fan of PTA.
Any recommendations for tonight?

Mandalorian is the best live action Star Wars project since Rogue One.

I do recommend sticking through though, its a great show IMO. But moreso, its a legit western which are slow paced in nature - it definitely picks up if the concern is pacing.

My bro said he thinks they patterened the main character after Clint Eastwood.
Favreau is a western fan, so I can see it

and Mando has a bunch of similar characteristics as the man with no name. I've always thought of Star Wars as a space western anyway.
