- 2 sacks coming at the end of the 1st half
- 5 games received over 75% of the snaps, 0 sacks in those games
- 7/9 plays below, Azeez was lined up on the left side of the defense
Azeez adding some pounds and in Wink's system should be fun!

Yeah -- we've had some problems with this in the past so it can not emanate from BBI

Martindale's defenses seem to be pretty low in that regard, though plenty say that getting sacks on the quarterback isn't important.
He can explode around the edge and bend the arc, and he showed that at Georgia. He should be a much more effective overall player in Wink's D. He's a downhill player.

Graham's scheme didn't make much sense to me; he almost never had the rushers use anything other than bull-rush and our guys, particularly the edges, didn't have the power or leverage to execute it well. As Strahan and Runyan will tell you, you have to hit the offensive lineman low to get any push and they weren't getting it.
From a pass coverage standpoint for the linebackers it didn't make much sense either. To run a cover-2 defense, you have to have linebackers who have sideline-to-sideline range through the roof and tackling ability, like a Derrick Brooks. Last year, Crowder had speed, but wasn't a good tackler, while Ragland didn't have range and was poor in coverage.
