Quick injury update: Kayvon Thibodeaux's mystery injury this spring was a "tweaked hip," per source. It's considered minor, so I'd expect him to be ready for the start of training camp.
The Giants were excessively cautious with injuries during the spring — have heard that a number of "red jersey" players had minor injuries. We'll find out at the start of camp which spring injuries were more serious.
It has to start turning for us soon? We have been at the short-end of the injury stick for to long.
As much as I'd love to see everyone practicing, I can see the value of focusing on getting guys healthy for August
Hip flexor injuries are somewhat common.

I'd love to know just what, exactly, a "tweaked" hip is. Every time I hear about a hip injury, I can't help but think of Bo Jackson.

Do they linger? Are they chronic? Is this something the team will have to "manage" throughout the season? It's very worrisome to me.
Hip injuries are not uncommon on NFL injury reports. They usually are not a big deal.

Well, okay then.
Oh for Christ sake.
Lol 🤡
A while back, ESPN did something on Bo- not sure if it was a 30 for 30 or not, but in that piece they had a doctor explain why Bo’s injury was so unique and why it would have only happened to him.
Thus, going right to Bo with nay injury is an overreaction and not informed.

Bo Jackson actually had a cracked hip socket that the Raiders misdiagnosed as a hip flexor. The hip socket bone actually ended up dying because of lack of blood flow.
Pray that KT doesn't have that situation. And hopefully this regime is not like the prior regimes where the Giants doctors misdiagnosed and/or had a player come back too soon just to aggravate the injury so that it's much worse.

is 3 weeks.
On the Giants, it's 3 months.

I don't think injuries really matter with this team ... The Giants are the ones who have gotten beaten up when the OTHER team is injured.
We still have the same QB, RB, WRs ...

They matter but so do the coaches that put players with talent in a position to win. I don’t think it’s fair to evaluate anyone on this team based on the last two years of play under a Joe Judge system.

Yeah, it's fair. Just need to try a little harder at it...
The levels of angst and lack of rational thinking displayed here are, while not unexpected, still somewhat unnerving.
A player gets injured taking part in extremely physically-demanding and violent activities where injuries (large and small) are the norm, not the exception. But in this case, the player is "injury prone," and is promptly dismissed as an afterthought.
All this with no meaningful knowledge of the situation, the prognosis, nor the player's ability to play through problems. Non compo.
And yes we have been hit hard by the injury bug. Some say its our stadium turf which is rough. Others say our training techniques need updating.
I just know I pray for health.
This better be sarcasm
