so the Wall St Journal just came out with a breaking story (paywall) that the NFL is pushing for an indefinite suspension that would last no shorter than one year for Watson. That would mean he would be out for one season, at least, before he could apply to be reinstated.
The rest of the article says if more accusers come forward his one year could easily become a multi year suspension.
Also what great spine the NFL has putting this out on Saturday evening.

Isn't Kraft an exact match that the players association can point to
The texans did really well to get him traded to Cleveland. They had dead weight that they would have had to release for nothing.
Going to be interesting in Cleveland with this backlash plus baker mayfield

Who accused Kraft of anything non-consensual?
Stop bringing up stupid examples that are nothing like this.
Roethlisberger is the closest and the victim unfortunately refused to pursue it and criminal charges could not be proven.

Nobody accused Robert kraft of sexual assault. Now you have Daniel Snyder and his team that had a litany of sexual harassment and abuse claims. Jerry Richardson was "forced" to sell his team amid accusations of sexual misconduct and racist remarks.
I think the Washington commanders situation is the one they are going to use in defense.

First get your panties out of a bunch
Secondly he was getting a massage and your have no idea if it was consensual. Historically, many of those women are forced to work there
Also. They said owners, not other players. Reading is fundamental, big Ben had no breeding in my comment. By definition that was the stupidest example your could have used

No, Kraft is in no way like Watson because in your mind it may not have been consensual because sometimes women are forced to work there, but nowhere in any new story about the case has that accusation come up. It would be big news.
In fact, if you bothered to read about the case before the diarrhea came out of your mouth/fingers you would know the women Kraft had "visited" pleaded guilty to soliciting another for prostitution. If Kraft had been charged it would have been for soliciting and it's a misdemeanor.
Read something before spouting off.
My comment about Roethlisberger was clearly my advice that the owner angle isn't going to cut it and if he truly plans to use whataboutism as his defense he's better off using players.
That move felt like the owners made that move. It was out of character with everything the current management has done with that team.
The NFL 'put this out'?? What you mean is the Wall Street Journal is reporting it.

So the Asian sex slave who polished Kraft's knob "gave her consent" ? Strange sense of justice some people have.
another expert who hasn't read a word of the case and thinks he knows everything.

Not even close. With Kraft it was consensual. He was a repeat customer of the same woman who was in her forties or fifties, if I recall.
IIRC, 50s..yes.

Act like an adult for a change, it's like you think you know me. Then you go off with diarrhea of the mouth and fingers? Yes that I haven't used since I was like 12.
I am sure many folks plead out to a lesser crime. So I know if it was out was not sex trafficking? You're right, I don't. So I know folks lie to protect themselves and their families, sure do. Do I have evidence of such in Kraft's case. Nope. Have I read what was publish at the time, sure. Do I believe it all? Nope not a chance. Did the cops mention sex trafficking though? I'll let you look that up
What do I do know. You're an ass if you think the players association will bring up Ben.

Some free advice. When you're in a hole. Stop digging.
You made an un-researched assumption that has been parroted by people who also don't know the facts and you're 100% wrong. Now you're scrambling to try and move goalposts and find some shred to cling to or frantically searching google to see WTF you got yourself into.
Just offer a mea culpa and move on or just move on.
Only like 2 million or something small like that it’s like they knew 🙄

Ok dumbass, I'm going to to point to the obvious.
You have no fucking clue.
Why did I ask if Kraft was an exact match?
Because frankly, if I'm the NFLPA lawyer I point to this case.
Kraft had a massage and some sexual favors. Let's assume it was consensual.
Watson had a massage and some sexual favors. Let's assume it was consensual. Until he is convicted you can assume nothing else.
You didn't punish Kraft in any real sense, you can't punish Watson either
Your dumbass missed the whole point of my comment and I toyed with you after your rant.
But your the expert, so please, educate me show me all the interviews and video evidence. Including the stuff Kraft had suppressed
Since your can't your are working on assumptions that were available in the press.
So please, take the shovel and keep digging .
Not saying Watson did or didn't, but those two seem pretty shady as well.

It's not the dream of every immigrant to clean houses or bus dishes or harvest oranges or wait tables but it's what people do sometime to pay the bills. And it's not just immigrants.
p.s.--Do you and all your friends and family enjoy working at their dream job? Must be nice.
p.s.--Where did you get this information that Shen Mingbi lives and works out of a trailer? I seriously doubt that the Orchards of Asia Day Spa is a trailer. I'm having trouble picturing the police breaking into it and installing a hidden camera while Shen's out food shopping.
According to the Jupiter Police Department, a hidden surveillance camera recorded Mingbi performing a sex act on Kraft at Orchids of Asia Day spa on Jan. 19. Police said that hidden camera was installed two days prior, on Jan. 17, as part of a 'sneak-and-peek' search warrant.
as of now...no one claimed anything even remotely close to that and the masseuse is charged with a crime. Sex/human trafficking is a red herring in all this. Sure, there are sex workers (or even just unwilling people) are who trafficked and it's tragic, but there was an ACTUAL investigation on this exact spa and the prosecutor said in his exact words:
".....He did, however, acknowledge that there was not enough evidence to suggest that the women working at the spa were doing so against their will. “No one is being charged with human trafficking. There is no human trafficking that arises out of this investigation,” he said."
So these morons can try and equate the two incidents, and can bring up stuff like the Wire, lol, but there was an actual (like IRL) investigation in this case, so we have you know....facts.
$230M guaranteed (signing bonus + 2022 salary + 2023 salary + 2024 salary + 2025 salary + 2026 salary)
$44.965M Signing Bonus
Language exists that will not forfeit signing bonus or void future guarantees upon suspension.
The family that owns the Browns are criminal scumbags. Watson fits in perfectly there.

Exact match? Did the masseuse that Kraft got caught with press charges on him? There's an absolutely massive distinction between the two.
And then there is the whole Dan Snyder thing. Which is sleazy at best and probably has criminal wrongdoing at worst (but probably not enough to be convictable).
I'm not defending Watson here, just saying that the NFLPA does have a point about double standards when it comes to owner behavior vs player behavior.
Indeed, the owners should be held to a higher standard than the players.

you know how the Kraft case would be even remotely similar to Watson? If the masseuse alleged that Kraft exposed himself to her unwillingly or even pressured or forced her to commit sex acts. And then 23 more people alleged the same thing.

You are usually a good poster so it is surprising that you've buried your head in the sand over these two issues. The point is both Kraft and Watson are involved with possible sexual misconduct. One was never investigated by the NFL, the other is being threatened with a long suspension. You say the authorities found no misconduct was found in the "spa" where Kraft was getting his jollies. You can say the same thing about Watson. No criminal charges were filed.
Kraft was not going to multiple spots and with multiple women.

Are you really as stupid as you sound ? Can you not tell the difference between a waiter or housekeeper and an immigrant who lives in a trailer and performs sex acts there ? Do you think she had a choice ? I invite you to watch Season 2 of "The Wire" and educate yourself
It's not about the difference in degree, it's about the logic of constraint and the nature of consent.
You are confusing the two
Please let there be some good Giants football this season.
p.s.--And criminal charges were filed in Robert Kraft's case. Four women were charged with prostitution and it cost each of them in the thousands. On the other hand, in Watson's case, twenty of the twenty-four women involved received at least six figures each in a settlement with the four remaining victims so far unwilling to settle. But I guess that's just a minor detail in the grand scheme of things that would have players face the same consequences for an illegal right turn as they would for vehicular manslaughter because, you know, they both involve vehicular misconduct.
