NFT: Ticket Sale Question

UConn4523 : 6/27/2022 11:39 am
I've got concert tickets for late July and i'm about 50/50 on whether I will be able to attend. What's the best way to find out how much I can get for them without actually trying to sell them yet? I went on Seatgeek to see what they are currently going for in my section + row, but don't know what an actual seller price would be.
Ticketmaster

now lists seats sold by them/venue and also those listed by fans, those show as Verified Resale tickets.
I may have read your post wrong

Or just go through the steps to list them for sale and I think there you’ll see what your payout actually is. You can do this without actually listing them for sale, just navigate away after you see the payout amount.
I tried it on Ticketmaster

it populated the range of list prices in the area - that's probably about as close as I will get. Thanks for the suggestion.
I used TM in the past.....

and I just list my ticket to cover face value and fees (they always sold). It helps to sell tickets in pairs. If they are good seat(s), they will sell, Just list them and follow what other folks are selling on the verified resale market via TM.
What's the gig and location?

Go to Ticketmaster and look at prices

in your section. They'll show you what original tickets are going or (assuming the show isn't sold out) and how resale tickets are being priced. You can also try SeatGeek or StubHub to get an idea.
The “for sale” prices tend to be high and you don’t know

if you’ll actually get that. You should be able to go to the stubhub app and see recent sales. This will give you a better idea of what you can actually get. Note that (1) a substantial fee will be taken out of that price and (2) the sale prices tend to drop as you get closer to the event (often by over 50% the day or two before the show).
