and they are improving....I live just South of Baltimore and go to a lot of games..they are no pushover and yes I can't stand them..people down here just hate the Yankees so naturally makes me hate them all the more..plus I remember the 70's
There's a makeup game with Houston this week such that the Yankees have 20 games in 20 days. They want to manage this innings of the starting five, esp. Cortes and Severino who have not had big-inning years recently.

After the damage was done. I noticed that the Yankee catchers do this sometimes. The game plan must say offspeed or breaking balls to certain hitters..aand they stick with it.
they're in striking range with 3 innings left, but the bottom of this lineup is brutal. The guy walks two batters, and then Treviño tries to be the hero by swinging at 3 pitches out of the zone. They whiffed on a golden opportunity there.
Speaking of lousy teams: The Pirates, Reds, O's and Red Sox are upcoming. Time to get even fatter...
