right now I have no opinion he's such an unknown. was up and down last year in sporadic playing time. depends about how he performs having a full season as the starter.
Surrounding Van Dyke in the ACC. Case could be made he is the best QB in the conference. In 2021 he won the ACC Rookie & Offensive Rookie of the year and his passer rating was second only to Kenny Pickett. Canes could be heavy favorites on the Coastal side of the ACC this year too with Pickett now in the NFL.
All Qbs wanted by BBI have turned out to be remote throwers.
Haskins, Rosen, Darnold all were BBI favorites. QBs are high risk picks because most of them don't work out. It will be interesting to see if Fields or Lance work out this year.

QB to me in this upcoming draft class. The kid can spin it: 25 TDs to 6 ints in 9 games last year and made some big time throws as a redshirt frosh. I like him and he could rise up draft boards really fast with another strong showing
possibilities of college players being injured, failing to perform, or sleeper players doing well you would think it would be wise to wait until at least mid college season. Besides, Daniel Jones is going to have a monster year, the Giants will have needs in other areas.

Out of no where, Jones is going to have a "monster" year, which he has never done. ok
Out of nowhere, Jones is going to have a "monster" year, which he has never done. ok
Isn't that what happened for Josh Allen? He didn't have any monster years until he did. Not sure what you mean about "out of nowhere" (he'll probably be commuting to and from the stadium in an automotive vehicle of some kind).

No, that isn't what happened to Josh Allen. He had improvement in a number of key areas (compl %, TD and INT ratios, wins, etc.) from year 1 to year 2, and then again in year 3. His development did not come "out of nowhere" if you were watching.
More importantly, how long are these threads & posts going to go on comparing aspects of Josh Allen to Daniel Jones? This has been going for a couple of seasons now on the site, and the two players and their respective play and trend lines aren't remotely similar.
They're projected to go significantly backwards in 2022?
KC at 24, Dallas at 29 both seem suspect.
I see he doesn't factor in trades, but that makes the top of the draft unrealistic. At least one of those top four teams will either draft a QB or trade down.
If the Jets really end up with the worst record in the NFL, that will mean a new front office regime and most likely a new QB drafted.

While I do see both KC and Dallas taking big steps back and both missng the playoffs possibly they won't be that bad I don't think.
Jets are terrible and the QB they drafted hasn't made you thinking "big year ahead" so ??? Jets are sadder than the Giants.

It doesn't hurt to start reading up on prospects, build a draft board, know what holes the Giants are going to have after 2022 (off the top of my head: quarterback, running back, tight end, swing tackle, middle linebacker).
I believe the Giants will very likely "gut" the pieces that don't fit
for the future or are a risk to re-sign so guys like D. Jones, S. Barkley, B. Martinez and K. Galloday may all be gone either as pure UFA or cap casualties.
Then we draft a QB who may sit early in the season and start afte the bye week making 2023 a developmental year rather than be a contender. It really depends on how healthy and productive these guys are and how much they fit the future with the cap considered.
Giants had picks 7 and 39, which they used to draft Georgia cornerback Kelee Ringo and Alabama linebacker Henry To'o To'o at 39th. First three picks were Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud (to the Texans), Georgia DT Jalen Carter to the Falcons, and Alabama QB Bryce Young to the Lions. Alabama rushbacker Will Anderson goes to the Jaguars at No. 5.

No, but we'll see if he can duplicate his success this year.

Not thrilled with either Young and Stroud.
excellent point
Not Morey.... Dick Van Dyke..Very funny dude..Very nimble around the living room..Can escape the pass rush..So so arm strength...
Murphy's listed as being smaller than Marshall at 6'5", 275 lbs; he's more Strahan's size. That being said I wouldn't mind someone else like Strahan.
I'd be surprised. I guess if Wilson completely craps out, but I think the Jets could be fairly competitive.
Draft order in this is based on ESPNs power rankings

I guess PFN is banking on Jones having a really good year.
Mellor’s 2-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Will Levis go in the first nine picks - ( New Window )
My guess is that they think corner is more important?
