remember people were arguing him vs. Big Victor. Victor looks potentially like the highest upside 1/1 since AD or Howard and Bates looks like a non-NBA player.
is getting a ton of hype right now. Him outplaying Chet Holmgren in the U19 tournament was very impressive. It was like watching two baby giraffes fight. Wembanyama has struggled a little in the Euroleague this year but obviously his long-term potential is freakish.
