if Traded has to be New Orleans, Phoenix or Miami. I can't see other teams that can trade young players and picks. He is not going to GS and they won't trade him to the Knicks. So lets not start hearing about Randle and picks.
Will land in Phoenix, Ayton plus in BK and Durant will try and fix his “rep” by helping Chris Paul finally get over the hump. It’s not exactly winning with the Knicks but that’s my strong gut feel

If it’s the best package, why wouldn’t they trade with the Knicks? You’re telling me if the Knicks offered, RJ, Obi, salaries to match, and a cache of first round picks that the Nets wouldn’t listen?

Phoenix is def the #1 contender, but I could see the Nets demanding Booker.

It’ll be centered around a sign and trade for Ayton. The Suns would do this to team Durant and Booker, not to deal Booker

Not happening. I could see Ayton plus a bevy of picks (#1s). I expect they'll try to move Kyrie too for some #1s.
They'll need some filler players for a year or two, but Marks is good - if Tsai lets him build his team.

In my mind, don't see how this deal gets done without Booker. The Suns picks will not be very good and they don't have any other real good young players. Ayton is not enough. I could definitely be wrong, but the Suns need more assets to make this deal happen.
and get bridges- that would be the best return possible.
Disagree with you on that... The picks from Phoenix will be terrible unless they wait till 2026 or something. Bridges is a role player, maybe a 3 way deal where they get picks for him.
While Durant has Phoenix and Miami listed as his preferred destinations, the Nets will trade him where they get the best haul
In my mind, that is New Orleans with Ingram or Zion as a starting point and they have a ton of picks.
Not sure Zion is a huge get. I bet if you polled GM's in private, many wouldn't touch him long term. And its a shame because I love how he plays (so I can see ticket sales being a factor for some) but I don't see how he has a long, healthy career.

I'm just thinking of teams with a good young piece and picks. I don't like any package Phoenix can put together, but Miami could possibly do something with Bam and Herro.
I think it'll be Phoenix. Ayton helps the Nets save face a little
although that'd be a weird way to do it, building around Simmons and Ayton. But more importantly in addition to Ayton, Phoenix has all their picks to trade and Miami doesn't

Just saw this. So Miami can't trade Bam

The Nets are not allowed to acquire a player like Bam Adebayo from the Heat because of the Designated Rookie Extension rule.
You cannot have 2 players acquired via a trade that were signed to that type of extension.
this is just another team, now, that Kyrie has destroyed.
I have to imagine one of Durant's key reasons for this ask is Kyrie. You just can't depend on or trust this guy when you really want to chase or win a championship. Which Durant clearly wants...

Miami can trade 3 future first-round picks (plus Jovic) *if* they amend the lottery-protected 2025 first-round pick they owe the Thunder to remove the protections. I triple-checked this with @BobbyMarks42
and a few league execs.

Don't give Durant a pass. While he isn't Kyrie.....you make your bed, you sleep in it. Durants ego did this.
Your friend has done one hell of a job
Have to imagine Miami is in the mix...??

They have the right GM in place to try and make some honey out of burning embers.

Yes. If they move to North Dakota.

Ayton and Bridges? Does PHO have picks?

Reminder:
The Rockets own the rights to or can swap picks with Brooklyn in each of the next 5 years:
2023 Nets 1st round swap
2024 Nets 1st rd pick
2025 Nets 1st round swap
2026 Nets 1st rd pick
2027 Nets 1st round swap
And every single one of those picks is UNPROTECTED.

Brooklyn already has Ben Simmons.

Holy shit.
and the 26 and 27
next years swap will be irrelevant and the 25 swap likely not exciting either.
Net.
That one guy in New Jersey must be devastated.
Lebron and KD on the same team would be cool.
