Brilliant!

Brilliant!
Yanks don’t believe in “hot” and haven’t for several years now. It used to bug me too but it’s how they operate.

Carpenter goes 3-5 with 2 HR's sits? While Gallo & Donaldson who suck get to play AGAIN?

I know it’s obviously coincidental, but it is absolutely astonishing how many times the victim of lineup roulette is the guy that had the big game the day before. I can almost predict who’s gonna sit a day in advance just by that games results. Stanton had a monster game? Better get him off his feet. Torres had a perfect day at the plate? His turn to rest. Carpenter is feeling great at the plate? He’s played one game in a row so he’s gonna get the day off to keep him fresh…
It’s all minor quibbles in an otherwise terrific season, but it kind of annoying

Apparently, they don't believe in 'cold' either.
I have to admit I don’t really understand some of the decisions but they have the best record in baseball and whatever they’re doing is obviously working, They have much more info than I ever could so I’ve just accepted what they do and enjoy the results.
The one I still don’t get though is giving guys a day off before a scheduled day off. Like Judge and DJ today. Maybe they have some data showing the long term benefits of two days in a row off but I’d think one would suffice for almost all uninjured players.
Simple game. If you get the batter, the runner on 1st doesn't score.
Gallo makes El Gary look like Babe Ruth.
He is horrible against righties. I would platoon him with Carpenter.
Yes he did but he didn’t even complain about it or he did was walk away…almost like he was happy the at bat was over

Agreed I brought this up the other day. He murders lefties, but can't hit righties this year. With Carp and DJ to play 3b he should platoon at this point.

Carpenter should clearly be playing more. Guess they are saving him for a rainy day??
Da bats?
