I like nothing about Kyrgios and hope either Garin or Fritz/Nadal take him out.
He won't last, he will get crushed with better talent on the other side of the net. Whether he's injured or not. He started showing cracks yesterday, surprised he didn't just blow up though. Thought he was close when he started serving ay 79 mph....
bw. I think you are treading into political waters there, but that is
you brought it up and he has a point. And since you did, does the number need to be 0 before you are ok lifting the restrictions? And how long until then? Likely years, if ever.
Djokivic didnt get to play the Aussie Open for some dumb reason, won't get to play the US Open for the same reason and Medvedev couldn't play in Wimbledon because he comes from a country where the leader attacked another nation. Just leave that stuff out of sports.

Marty is the guy driving his car next to yours with a mask on with no one else in the car.
Where I live recently there were 4 drownings of people under 21. Marty all people near pools should be wearing life jackets I assume?
So true. Nadal was there for the taking. He was clearly hurting. He couldn't get anything on his serve and his movement was subpar. Yet, he dug very deep and found a way. That effort was a real credit to his character.
It sounds like it's 50/50 if he can even lace them up for his match Kyrgios. That would really be a downer for the semis because I expect Joker to crush Norrie.
On a side note...Fritz' girlfriend is freaking HOT...
With Nadal's abdomen tear, the difference in the 1st serve between the two might just be insurmountable on grass. Kyrgios might have the best serve in the world, I know statisically Isner is better but Kyrgios' technique is incredible. On the otherhand, Nadal was struggling bigtime with his serve against Fritz.
Nadal is a warrior and has always been a genius at adjusting to his opponent, but he's in deep trouble right now. Even if he fights his way past Kyrgios, I can't imagine this injured version of him has a chance at taking down Novak in the Final (Norrie needs a miracle to beat Novak imo). I'll be rooting for Nadal to take down the shithead Kyrgios but right now I think Kyrgios should be considered the favorite.
Also, yea, Fritz's girl is insanely attractive lol. The cameraman literally cut to her after every single point in that match. It was kind of ridiculous but I wasn't complaining.

Top clarify, Kyrgios should be considered the favorite in the SF match. Novak is still the clear favorite, even if Kyrgios would have puncher's chance against him.
that his Calendar Year Grand Slam chase ended this way. I was really looking forward to a Djokovic-Nadal final at Wimbledon, it really seemed to be breaking that way after the early rounds.
With Novak expected to be out of the US Open this year and Aussie Open next year (I hope he's able to play), this means we won't see another Major event where these two face off against each other until potentially the next French Open.
A well rested Kyrgios vs. Djokovic final would certainly be entertaining. The inevitable crazy shit that Kyrgios pulls while dealing with this pressure is going to be must see TV. Nothing is off the table. We could see him channel Ron Artest and go into the stands to beat up a fan. We could see him punch a ballboy. Nothing is off the table. All that said, his serve is still beastly enough to give him a shot against Novak.
I'd be stunned if The Joker didn't win.
Great women's match in the a.m. between Halep and Anisimova (from Freehold). Love Anisimovas power game.
Terrific comeback by Joker.

Why turn this thread into that? And if he’s following their protocols, be mad at the all England club.
No.
Instead, you should be bothered by the All England Tennis Club not allowing Russia and Belarus players to play this year...
If one person gets sick or dies because Mr. Novak, is allowed to play at Wimbledon, it would bother me.

Great, now onto other news.

Probably right since it's very likely Joker cruises by Norrie.
