Meh, took two very good throws. I don't disagree with you but I don't disagree with Rojas...
I like Rojas, but I immediately didn't like that call. It could have been great though. Really close play. I guess that might be what you want in that spot. With 1 out...
never send DJLM if it's going to be at all close -
one hit this team? This game had to be an anomaly. Even Gallo hit a home run. Now let's go to Boston and see if we can't continue the carnage.
In a sense I agree. But it is an over the top example of what they do. Pick away at the oppo pitcher, wear him down and then destroy the BP.
It is frustrating that they can be shut down and the very next day explode.
We were 41-41 at this same point last year. Just a massive contrast.
Chris Sale had a shitty outing against the RailRiders last night and threw a tantrum afterwards lol. He started breaking a bunch of stuff in the locker room.
Huge series against Boston, an opportunity to just completely bury them.

Aside from his 1st season up there, has he ever been good? Seems like one injury after another has kept him sidelined.

The first 2 years he was in Boston, he was a legit Cy Young candidate (Kluber edged him out in 2017), but 2018 was the last time he was ace-level good.
He had a 4.40 ERA in 2019 and struggled, didn't pitch at all in 2020, barely pitched in 2021 and still hasn't pitched yet in 2022.
His physique makes me nauseous. He looks like he's going to snap in half.

.
I saw some comments in the Post, somebody called him Chris Frail, that was funny. I think he will come back to the rotation now, bad outing or not. He will most likely face the Rays next week, then the Yanks next weekend before the ASG? Just a guess, not confirmed by Sawx.
I stopped watching after it was 10-0, figured they could pull that one out, guess they beat up on a position player on the mound. When teams put in a position player, they might save an actual arm in the 'pen, but runs are sure to follow...
Good job by Sevy getting out of that first inning, then pitched well afterwards. Best outing in a while I thought.
Bout damn time.
-Beltran, probably

Ha, any play with DJ running is a close play!
Did he?
Not only did we almost fall over, so did Donaldson.
Yup. Feel for the guy. Got scooped up when we DFA'd him and wound up going from the best team in MLB to one of the worst.
There you go, Dave. One inning late but there it is.
A Judgian Slam.
9-0 Yankees.

Love to see it. I know he's been struggling recently, but hopefully this will get him going again.

Still 59-23 .720 winning percentage...
