I would hope they find the right guy soon after the season as next spring likely figures they'll be college QB hunting..
Far be it from me to defend Pat Leonard, whom I've likened to Star Trek villain Colonel Green, but what exactly did he say that was "dickish?" Injuries have plagued the Giants in recent years, and concerns about player durability should be on every fan's mind. It seems like Daboll & Co. are taking a new approach, but only time will tell if it's successful.
I thought it might be Slater too, but his Twitter feed is just a link to team articles and it doesn't say he covers the "Giants" but "NFL reporter/analyst".
If Zack isn't covering the team anymore, we're going to get less info.

This makes me think Schoen has a guy in mind but he's currently under contract and he would rather wait a season a get his guy than bring in an option he isn't thrilled with.

Daniel Jones said Kadarius Toney made a heck of a catch on his TD at practice today. He said it’s “huge” to have him healthy and playing. DJ is excited to grow with him and the whole group.

#Giants Jones -right now, it is about getting in and out of the huddle clean and knowing where to go with the ball...went well today...this offense gives QB a lot of freedom and keep the QB moving...guys are in different spots and disguising - it all helps the QB

I think Wandale will basically start as he did today. I won’t be shocked to see Flott pass Holmes or Ezeudu start at guard, but those two might take a few months.

Will have a full practice report later, but the biggest development today: No players in red jerseys other than those on the PUP/NFI lists. Seems like they flipped the switch a bit from the extra cautious spring and now it's time for guys to compete.
A note on the defense, this was a walk-through period. When they did live 11-on-11 periods, rookie Darrian Beavers replaced Martinez, who is coming back from a torn ACL

Buffalo and KC both run a lot of 3,4, and even 5 wide.. Wandale will see a LOT of reps whether he is considered a " starter " or not.

Pops was assistant DB coach in Chicago on Matt Nagy's staff. He has familiarity here with Daboll and Jerome Henderson (CLE) and Brandon Brown (IND).
