Rookie DB Cordale Flott made two praise-worthy plays in coverage in the end zone today.
Had a deflection in traffic early in red zone drills. Then showed his IQ by shoving Robert Foster out of bounds while he was mid-air when he caught the ball. #Giants

Daniel Jones said Kadarius Toney made a heck of a catch on his TD at practice today. He said it’s “huge” to have him healthy and playing. DJ is excited to grow with him and the whole group.

#Giants Jones -right now, it is about getting in and out of the huddle clean and knowing where to go with the ball...went well today...this offense gives QB a lot of freedom and keep the QB moving...guys are in different spots and disguising - it all helps the QB
DJ said obviously the offense will get more and more complicated as they go, but he was happy with how they operated on Day 1 of camp.

Blake Martinez said he got the news yesterday that he was cleared to practice. He said they’ll ramp him up but it felt good to knock the rust off today. “This was my first practice in 10 months.”

I think Wandale will basically start as he did today. I won’t be shocked to see Flott pass Holmes or Ezeudu start at guard, but those two might take a few months.
Will have a full practice report later, but the biggest development today: No players in red jerseys other than those on the PUP/NFI lists. Seems like they flipped the switch a bit from the extra cautious spring and now it's time for guys to compete.
A note on the defense, this was a walk-through period. When they did live 11-on-11 periods, rookie Darrian Beavers replaced Martinez, who is coming back from a torn ACL

The duality of Brian Daboll's new existence as a head coach: He ran over to celebrate Kadarius Toney's acrobatic TD catch. Two plays later, he ran after Darnay Holmes to celebrate his interception.
Duggan also clarified that Bellinger and Feliciano were starting.
He and Thibs and Neal make 3 rookie starters. I wonder if there will be any others.
