every qb looked bad. it's not like Tyrod is lighting it up. Plus I would rather Jones throw it away than hold on to it. Die Hard Jones haters must be loving camp.
What annoys me

Is I wouldn’t be talking shit or buying any DJ jerseys if he was having a “good”’camp which in and of itself is a ridiculous label to even apply to the qb, but while I’d be slightly encouraged I wouldn’t give a fuck until jones lit it up in the real games.

Early on, defense is always ahead of offense.

So basically Jones was 6-9 until the end

when he had a couple of throwaways and a few WR miscommunications. What is wrong with that? Should he throw into traffic for picks? Also whats he supposed to do if the WR runs the wrong route? This is all getting ridiculous, just wait for the games. If he stinks then well then he stinks. Practice is practice

Well, the offense for the most part has looked pedestrian.
So over the weekend
mattlawson : 8/1/2022 10:36 pm : link
Ed does 2 podcasts talking about the risk reward of having choice routes and the challenge of the QB / WRs needing to be on the same page and it taking a while to get that solidified…. A la Eli and the Gilbride offense — fully admitting it wasn’t always a seemless product and that it took a while to build that trust and cohesion…

And now we’re supposed to think DJ didn’t look good today on the first day of pads. so what, panic? Yet…

It’s a new offense and everyone is still finding their way in it together. AS HE SAID HIMSELF OVER THE WEEKEND.

Please.

No one covering the team has said that. In fact it’s been the polar opposite
Should we even play the season?

I mean, he sailed a few throws the first week of camp. It’s over guys. Seasons over.

I feel like I’ve heard this every year for the past several years.
The defense, especially the corners have looked

Better than expected...which is encouraging. This defense can be special....if they stay healthy.

The OL is not as deep as expected. The Giants need Gates to be ready and a swing tackle must step up.....or they will be carrying some scary backups.

Jones and WRs do scare me yet
The top 3 corners have been better than expected I’m hearing
mattlawson : 8/2/2022 8:59 am : link
But after that it’s a steep drop off. No depth

Add a couple of passes that seemed to be throwing the ball away, which is often the right decision.

The bbi peanut gallery is full of stupid takes but Jone is an innaccurate passer because of one practice in Aug takes the cake. They were tearing their rainments because Ximines had a good day of practice!
