Peart is probably still hurt. They have the international player that Osi is familiar with but I’m sure he’s pretty raw. Maybe they sign someone that gets released? Hopefully Schoen doesn’t trade a bunch of picks to bring in backups like dipshit did last year.

Right now, it appears to be Ezedu with McKethan next.

From what I've gathered, this is related to an undisclosed physical issue. Gono is scheduled to see a doctor tomorrow, so there should be some clarity after that. Link - ( New Window )

Veteran tackle Kendall Lamm worked out for Giants on the eve of training camp last week, but was not signed. They signed Garrett McGhin from that workout instead, but I think I have seen him more on the interior to this point.
So we'll see if Giants look to add depth at tackle.
Gono is an undersized tackle. Better try him as a backup guard
The Athletic’s Dan Duggan is reporting that Gono has an undisclosed physical issue and will see a doctor on Thursday.
He played well in 2020 with the Falcons who signed him as an undrafted free agent. He played 336 snaps, 206 in pass protection and allowed only 16 pressures and one sack. In 2021 he was on the PUP list with an undisclosed injury that required surgery.
with the Bears and T- Tevin Jenkins. Supposedly on the trading block (though some say he is missing practice for an injury- yet no injury has been reported).
He is a 2nd year guy, had back surgery last year so that would need to be checked but if Bears would take a 5th for him it would certainly be worth a look (assuming he passes a physical).

Giants battle for swing OT going into camp was Matt Peart (PUP), Korey Cunningham (cut due to NFI) & Matt Gono.
Today their two rookie guards Josh Ezeudu & Marcus McKethan were the backup tackles. Swing Tackle is an issue.
Now if Gono knows he's done, then better he moves on.
Gotta think so. It was his number in high school and college and he has it on his Twitter handle and he has a diamond 73 necklace.
I know right? Why would a player fighting for a backup spot want to try a new position that could increase his chance of making the roster?

so he decided to come up with an undisclosed issue to circumvent that process...

Tevin Jenkins of the Bears could be on the trade market per a report two days ago.

I hope it is a minor medical issue but it sounds like it isn’t minor.

Oh, I always thought they were singing about their gonads.

Gonads, gonads, gonads,
or else you're gonna make me cry...'

It's BBI. Class and being well-informed has nothing to do with it.

Solder would be more of a swinging door than a swing tackle.
