With Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley. Caine as Sherlock Holmes and BK as Watson. Loved it. The twist is that Watson is the brains of the operation and Holmes is a washed up drunken actor he hired. But he starts to resent all the public adulation Holmes gets. Brilliant film. Caine is amazing.
Movies that weren't hits but that I thought were good.
Don't know your taste, so look these up before you try 'em.
"Licorice Pizza"
"Martha Marcy May Marlene"
"Dick" (Hilarious if you are old enough to remember Watergate, not so much if you're not)
"A Simple Plan"
"John Carter" - Terrible title, now feels derivative because the story was so imitated, but that movie is fine.
The Star Wars "Solo" movie isn't bad either, but the lead actor is miscast. If you can make yourself forget he's playing the younger version of Harrison Ford, it's ok. It's just not good enough.
On another note:
Fun and accessible documentary: "My Octopus Teacher".
but Bill Burr has a semi-recent comedy special on Netflix.
Live at Red Rocks.
Not his best but some good moments. Worth watching if you're a fan.
The (truthful) bit about the WNBA is already an instant classic of his. Photos with his quotes from that are already in every comment section on the promoted WNBA Facebook posts in my feed.
I actually thought this last one was very good and one of his better specials. I've been to 6 or 7 of his shows in my time. Hope to venture out again to see him soon.

Eh, wasn't a huge fan of this last one. It seemed like he was going for edgy/let's see the pushback from these jokes vs making the material funny.
Don't get me wrong, I liked some of it - but I don't think it was his best stuff

That's what everyone says.
If it's not edgy, he's selling out to cancel culture or whatever. I think he played it just fine. What was edgy? Some women jokes? Like the ones he's been pulling for the past 15 years?
Seems like no one can win these days. Doing comedy must be rough these days because you can't satisfy .... anyone.
Most Dangerous Game
From the executive producer of REACHER. Desperate to take care of his pregnant wife before a terminal illness can take his life, Dodge Tynes
Lincoln Lawyer has interesting twists.
Both worth watching- first is a thriller the other is mystery.
Good luck

With Bob Odenkirk and Christopher Lloyd. it won’t win any Academy Awards, but it was definitely a fun watch.
