@DanDuggan21 OL Marcus McKethan down with an apparently serious lower right leg injury. Cart on the field immediately. |

@art_stapleton Rookie OL Marcus McKethan is down and Giants wasted zero time in sending out the cart. Hate to see this. |
The turf?
It is turf, but why are you playing the turf? It is football. All we know he was getting bullrushed. What did he do and what did the torque from the rush do?
There are a handful of other teams using the same turf.
Just hope it was a tweak or something minor - it won't be, not with the Giants.

Isn't it turf? I didn't think it was natural grass.

HTF does blaming become playing?
There is no mistaking the ridiculous number of injuries this team and other teams have sustained playing on our trash field surfaces since the switch to MetLife. Something is clearly wrong.
They did, after losing a number of players early in 2020 and playing two straight weeks at Metlife.
Minnesota and Baltimore (if i recall right) have the same turf and have been among the least injured teams.
Yeah they did, and the numbers didn't really show anything, IIRC.
Again, this is not a one off field. There are a few others in the league.
For Christ's sake...it ISN'T the turf at MetLife. You're a fucking non compo.
Next time I promise to knock on wood.
Hopefully nothing serious.
Agreed. Shit field, ugly, overpriced. They might as well have just kept old Giants Stadium.
Pretty sure opposing players have complained about the turf at MetLife too

I've walked MetLife multiple times, and I've been on youth fields with better turf.

And the jets. And I think their injury rate is much lower. Some times it’s just bad luck. Which I understand since Mara obviously sold his teams soul to win XLVI.
I don't think anyone thought the depth was good to begin with.

Perhaps I'm channeling my inner Jim Garrison, but good Lord...the turf @ MetLife is so bad I'm starting to think it's a BB conspiracy to get back at us for XLII & XLVI.

So what the fuck is it?
Thomas has yet to play a full season, Ezeudu is currently backing up literally every OL spot...1 or 2 injuries and we are looking at 2021 again.
Cap be damned, bring in someone who can actually play.
it really is annoying.
If we knew, it would be posted.
Torn ACL….out for the year. You’re welcome…..

Maybe it’s the fact these are huge human beings doing crazy movement putting additional pressure on ligaments & tendons?
You do realize that todays athletes are considerably larger than they were 20 years ago meanwhile ligaments are the same size. Horses are the same way!
