1. Brian Daboll looks much more comfortable leading a group of Millennials than Joe judge did. I remember last year Judge walked around like General Patton and Daboll just kind of carries himself like one of the guys out there.
2. Get your #5 jersey now. Thibodaux's speed is going to be impossible for teams to stop. To my eye, he's actually a little smallish looking standing next to the rest of the front seven guys, but he is just so fast he's going to wind up with as many sacks as he wants. He's going to get held a lot which is ok too.
3. Ojulari in a T-shirt is bigger and thicker now than a lot of guys with their pads on. He could be fun to watch if he gets and stays healthy.
4. I'm 43 years old, and this year's defense is going to consistently look like nothing I've ever seen on a week to week basis. I've never watched Raven games week to week, but it's impossible to tell who's playing what position and who's going to rush the passer and who's going to drop into coverage on any given play.
5. The center position could absolutely ruin this football team if Feliciano doesn't make the starting gate every week.
6. They ran a couple of trips left sets with golladay, toney, and Robinson on the same side, with saquon split wide on the other side. Could be interesting if the online holds up, but.....
7. This O Line did not look anywhere near "fixed". Thibodaux beats anybody he wants, but many of the plays I saw tonight would have resulted in complete blow ups. Depth is already still a catastrophic issue.
8. We are not going to get anything from the tight end position this year, but if we're patient, they may have something useful with this Andre Miller.
9. Tyrod Taylor could absolutely run this offense if need be. He looked much more comfortable, albeit against the twos, then Jones did against the ones.
10. Beavers is going to carve out significant playing time for himself on this team. It looks like Crowder might too. Same can be said for corker. It'll be interesting to see what Blake Martinez can bring when he's healthy.
11. No real focus on special teams units tonight, which we saw a bit more of at last year's fan fest.
12. Matt Breida looks to be a good pickup for us, and I can't wait to see Corbin going live in preseason games... there's definitely something there.
13. Kadarius Toney is clearly one of those guys we all know who just marches to the beat of his own drummer. He was wearing black calf coverings, where everyone else was either wearing blue, white, or none. He stands out with the red head covering as well when his helmet is off. He's also the only guy who was playing catch with fans in the lower bowl from the field while he was on the sideline.
I left feeling that we might not be as good as I hoped during this entire offseason, but it's going to be a fun season for Giants fans to watch and tonight was a fun night.
So is KT mostly beating our dogshit backup tackles or is he having his way with Neal and Thomas consistently too?

The thread said he was beating Neal and Thomas, too.

Nah, he beats them both like drums. And I think he got Thomas for a holding penalty as well. But to be fair, it's impossible for these offensive lineman to tell who's coming from where with this defense.

A friendly coach that coaches more than specials, what a novel idea!!!

Oh man that’s exciting on both accounts. I forgot what it’s like to watch a defense that gets after the QB!
You're right about center being an issue of great concern. I'm thinking the Giants may groom Ezeudu to play center. I think he has both the physical ability and the intellect.
8. "We'll get nothing from the TE position this year."
Daniel Bellinger is supposedly a terrific blocker and is capable of both running routes and catching the ball. I think he may surprise.
Great report. Nice job.
Evan Engram single handedly lost games
He is smallish, in particular in the butt and legs, which are athletic, muscular, but thin, even skinny for a 255lb man. I'm already worried re. lower body injuries.
Why risk it...
See his pointer #9…..
