NFT: Spikes thread got me curious: distance of commute to MetLife

Jonesin 4 A Ship : 8/6/2022 6:28 pm
Whether you go for individual games or have season tickets, how far do you have to travel or how long does it take you to get there? I am a season ticket holder and I travel from Johnstown to Met Life and it takes me about 2 and a half hours each way, depending on traffic (about 190 miles each way).

From Little Egg Harbor - 1 hour and 30 minutes. Now I have a better car probably quicker lol

Lol. One game in 2016 it took me 1 hour and 10 minutes to get to the little egg harbor exit.

Haven't been to a Giants home game since 2019 though. That stadium sucks. Gonna just go to all road games now.
About 30 minutes-more or less

Never drove there. I live in NC. When I visit NJ, I fly. I've only been to Metlife once, Bears Giants December '18. Metlife sucks. It has no personality. I really miss Giants Stadium.

Wimp. I drove to the Carolina game (OBJ to Barkley) in 2018.
From Livingston (not Bloomfield anymore) it’s 30 minutes.

I love the new stadium since we upgraded. Not popular I know.
Without traffic probably 30 minutes
BrianLeonard23 : 8/6/2022 8:13 pm : link
But I haven’t been since 2013. I’d rather watch at home.
Growing up when we lived in CT it was about 90 mins each way

Plus traffic. Stadium and bridge traffic always were horrid.

Both views (at game and home) since 2013 are awful
I have to meet up

because there is only one parking pass. Just under an hour because of that. It took me 30 minutes to go directly from my house to practice a week ago.
From Northern Virginia

That goes without saying.

Also at home I can have as many medium Pepsis as I want. It’s a perk for being a living room couch season ticket holder.
“Oh yeah, big fan of the Giants!”

“Cool, how often do you go see them play?”

“Well I, uh…”

LOL.
Attend one game a year, usually out of division
