Daboll said DL coach Andre Patterson will be back “sooner than later” but is still “working through some things medically.” Assistant DL coach Bryan Cox continues to lead the position group.
Judge seemed to have a very set POV, and very little feel for the realities in front of him.
No one should have been surprised the Giants looked sluggish to start the years, when Judge treated the pre season so cavalierly.
With four new offensive lineman, a new system, all brand new tight ends, very few reps last year with the full WR group, and Jones returning from missing a quarter of the season — the Giants should use every opportunity to prepare.

Does this mean that free agents will no longer sign with the Giants?
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but this talk of conditioning is somewhat alarming. Aren't these dudes supposed to keep themselves in tip top shape during the offseason? I know it's been hot AF this summer, but it is the summer & I don't remember a HC talking about conditioning @ large, perhaps a person here & there. But it seems to be a team wide issue from what Daboll is insinuating.

They are talking game conditioning. Ie run plays, take hits, blocks, force in running routes against another person or for e covering routes and then lining up and going again. Much different that just cardio conditioning.

That is important and I’m surprised Judge took the stance he did last year.
I'm the kind of guy who gives the professionals the benefit of the doubt. I know I don't really know jack, but Judge’s decision to not play so many players in preseason, especially on O, seemed odd to me at the time and looked pretty freaking stupid by week 3 of reg season.
