This is just an acknowledgment of how awesome a summer it has been. MLB is better when the NY teams are playing well. It is going to be a fun October.
NYY: 70-38
NYM: 69-39
It’s been a rough stretch for NY sports, but things look like they are turning.

Maybe its PTSD from prior years but we see it coming from a mile away. Never enough hitting w/ RISP. Starting pitching has been a concern but they typically are fine in the postseason, the bats go silent.
Carpenter, Judge, IKF and Trevino are all hitting above .300 with RISP.
The problem is you're getting absolutely nothing from everyone else. Not gonna work in the playoffs.
Cashman keeps putting lipstick on a pig with his deadline moves but in reality he doesn't do enough in the offseason.
They've also done a terrible job of developing position players with Gleyber now another guy who feels like he won't hit his full potential. They prospect hug, don't play the prospects, they lose value....rinse & repeat.
It's a joke they haven't called up Peraza. Joke.
Plantar fasciitis can vary a lot and is hard to predict but I'd bet on september before 2 years!
They have a awful record playing the Astros in Houston
A Mets-Yanks WS would be fun. I'm going to be at Citi this Friday for Mets-Phillies. I think Scherzer is on the mound.

I think second seed in AL might be better than first. Get to face MN/TB in ALDS instead of TOR/SEA winner.
Not quite.
They have a shot this year, and I know some fans consider the two teams rivals. I do not other than when they are playing each other, so I do think it's better for baseball when both teams are competitive (and for my family - my father and brother are diehard Yankees fans so for their sake if the Mets are not involved I always root for the Yankees to win or I'm indifferent, I can't recall a non-Mets reason I ever rooted for the Yankees to lose - on top of it I live in the Boston-metro area and can't stand any Boston team - except the Celtics - but I hate the Bruins and Red Sox passionately)

Bader's plantar fasciitis is talked about as if it will go away by September. It won't. Recovery time from this ailment is described as from several months to two years. That is, he won't be joining the outfield that soon when this thing was first diagnosed in June. So we're stuck with Hicks and Montgomery in the meantime continues to pitch and win for his new team.

I'd bet next season. I'd also bet if September happens, he goes out again before the season is over.
Eli had it and played his very next game and games after.
Gotta get tickets for that.

Knowing Buck as we do that doesn't seem like a coincidence.
