once. He was a really nice guy. Sometimes when you meet famous people you get the feeling you are bothering them. Not with Pugh.
Pugh is a charmer/charismatic type of guy, probably someone who would be fun to hang around. But IMO he is the quintessential "locker room lawyer" type.
Some people he grew up with and is still close with. I never liked him but by all accounts he's a solid guy to his buddies from childhood after "making it big"...which I guess isn't saying too much.
Pugh has not really done anything of significance since leaving the Giants nor has the Cardinals done anything since acquiring him. Nothing to see here.
you imagine what Wink Martindale would do to Will Hernandez?
We don't have to imagine it. Every DC we played against blew his doors off for 4 years. I still remember Mark Schlereth commentating a Giants game and basically saying Hernandez had no clue how to play football.
Like Evan Engram, he's demonstrated that he's a bad football player over an incredibly large sample size.
Pugh, Flowers, & Collins won jack here. Of the three, Flowers was the worst in terms of temperament. He quit on the team.
To be fair to Collins, it was in DG's first year when he left and DG stated that they were letting players go to improve the culture around the Giants. While it could be argued that DG was talking more about OBJ than anyone else, Collins took that personal like most of us would as well.
What a stupid comment - it screams of a guy who takes himself too seriously. It's not hockey buddy - everyone defends their own after a cheap shot, if you think the NFL expects one person to take care of that then we are watching different sports.

They were never going to give him the cash he got from Washington. He was leaving and that comment wasn’t about him and he knew that. DG inherited a mess. DG took the heat for Mara w reading the team up. Horrible hire but was he going to say no I don’t want the job?
Pugh was a bad pick like all of Reese’s OL picks. Zero clue on that part of the team for 10 years. Ad FA signings on top of mediocre to crap picks

I remember Snee and O'Hara saying they could outlift Pugh even after he had been in the league for years.
His talk never matched his performance.
He's an Eagles fan, it's his nature

They must be easy to fool out there
Chucklehead...
Somewhat rare for a franchise like the Giants, which most ex players speak of with reverence. 🤷♂️
Not that talkative... the tweet was 3 words.

NFL player hate Gettleman, and they Giants didn't give them 2nd contracts (and Flowers got cut) so they are butt hurt about it.
