I was just thinking about my Octoberfest food menu in advance.

The thought of last years beer never entered my equation.

I’m no young buck anymore but the thought of leftover beer is anathema to me. Like pizza.

and he's brewing his Oktoberfest (lager) this week. He will brew his fest beer (ale) in a few weeks. I think the target date is September.

I think he's also considering a pumpkin something for the brewery's Oktoberfest weekend

I actually like them as a warm weather beer, particularly the festbier.
