Anyone else think Taylor and Webb are going to be running for their lives Thursday? The OL depth is going to be a problem all preseason IMO.

Just preseason?
Nobody has a good 2nd string OL and you certainly cant expect quality there.
LT Thomas
LG Lemieux
C Feliciano
RG Glowinski
RT Neal (growing pains, but should be adequate in pass pro and well above average in run game in year 1)
Ezeudu
Garcia
While Cunningham, Gono and McKeathan are injured, I am not sure they are of a greater caliber than whatever their replacements will end up being. This is generally the state of affairs in the NFL for 8th-10th linemen on a roster.
What I am getting from this, is since they will be playing behind the 2nd stringers and our depth is suspect he is worried about them getting pummeled on Thursday night.
Hopefully Daniel starts to at least begin showing some God damn development finally

What teams in the NFL have great OL depth???? Most teams cant fill out 5 solid starters and we are talking about quality depth??? You want a solid line, here is rule #1 through 10 - keep your starters healthy. Cause when even one guy goes down, that can bring the whole thing down.
My snarky remark was in the context of the O-Line… and that “depth” would not necessarily be just a pre-season issue.
Definitely don’t think the starting O-Line is bad. I’ve said before that I feel a lot better about our O-Line than what we’ve trotted out there for the past decade. But I think Schoen/Daboll need to do more work on depth in the 2023 off-season.
@Dan_Salomone
Kafka said his background as a QB helps him calling plays. His first priority is to get it in fast and clear to the QB. He admits sometimes he gets too amped up.

I'm not sure I understand your response. Are you saying Davis Webb is going to start this season behind our starting offensive line which you think is crap?

I expect them to do that. However, I think they're anticipating Gates making it back (if not this year, then certainly next year), as well as McKethan, and those two ought to help.
Still, I'm of the mind that you should draft OL's every year, not necessarily with premium picks, but with mid-to-late rounders worth developing. Keep that pipeline flowing. I'd love to see them develop the big Nigerian kid, too.
@Dan_Salomone
Wink said it’s not written in stone that a safety will continue to relay the calls on the field. It could be week to week.
Dan Salomone
@Dan_Salomone

McGaughey said Cam Brown has a high ceiling. “He’s on his way” and not just on special teams. He didn’t want to speak for Wink, but he’s sure there’s a good role for him on defense.

Daniel Jones started the 11 on11s with the 1st team offense, but Tyrod Taylor just took a snap with the 1st string O for the first time that I’ve seen this camp. Daboll appeared to be conferring with Jones. Then Jones came back and replaced Taylor for the next play #Giants

Tyrod Taylor just replaced Daniel Jones with the starting offense for one play 👀.
Hard to tell why Jones got the hook, but there was a busted play on the previous snap and Daboll didn’t seem happy. Jones back in after one play.

Kayvon Thibodeaux would’ve had 2 sacks during the first few plays of team periods today.

Neither are ellipses, but here we are...
Agreed- sort of.. It is far easier to play "tough" when you know the defense isn't coming to lay serious wood on you and when you know those guys want to avoid hurting you at all costs. I will be happy when I actually see it against another teams defense.
