A broken forearm usually isn’t a long-term injury. If he is waived-injured, and clears waivers, can he rejoin the same team’s PS when healthy? I doubt he can pass a physical in time to be a normal cut in 2 1/2 weeks.
Realistically, there should be better backup options available at cutdown time, since he is so raw. So not having him on the roster in September isn’t a big deal. But as a developmental prospect, he needs all the on-field TE work he can get.
Didn’t realize how high he was on the most recent released Giants depth chart. It should be very interesting in what they do with him, given his injury. It takes about 4 to 6 weeks for an injury like this to heal, which place is us somewheres towards the end of September. I do think he gets cut and is placed on the practice squad at this point. I think in the end, he somehow is a Giant in September.

Outside Bellinger and Miller, I thought the rest were bound to be gone. Akins might make it but he's not a good #2.
Have you been reading the camp reports? Miller had been a bit surprise thus far.
Barely. He's missed 8 in a row.
I went to Umaine for two years, also. I’m rooting for him big-time, also!

Has he practiced at all?

Seals-Jones is so far down on the Depth Chart in that drop-down page that he almost fell off.
Benders? What’s wrong for pulling for a guy that went to your university? By the way, he was listed at number three in the depth chart. WTF?
All is good!
