Araiza has two major challenges: Like Gillen, he needs to improve his hang time; and he has to learn to hold for placements. For a team like Buffalo that is in its window to contend for a championship, those things can be the difference between a Lombardi Trophy and going home. Anyway, Araiza was weirdly overhyped. He wound up in the sixth round for good reasons, and Buffalo isn’t committed to him at all.
Haack had a bad year. If he reverts to his prior (Miami) form, he’s an asset.
