So i have pick 3 in my 10 team standard big money league. I want Henry. If the first 2 picks govTaylor then Henry who would you pick? I an afraid of Eckler (injury, and less use). Do I go best wr? Which one Kuppor Jefferson?

And would you draft Kamara in rd 2? Not sure when or how long he will be suspended for.
I probably

go CMC in that instance.

Asked it before, but I'm going to do it again for shits and giggles since I keep waffling back and forth.

.5 PPR league. I can keep Kupp for a 3rd or Chase for a 5th. Leaning Chase for the two round discount.
100% Chase
superspynyg : 8/10/2022 1:41 pm : link
I think Kupp, Jefferson, and Chase have similar stats so take the discount.
Kamari’s next court date is end of September.

There is now some thought his trial won’t conclude until after the season. Watch him move up draft boards over the next week.
if it's PPR

ignore unfounded fears about Ekeler. Every year I am a broken record about this guy. He's a stud. Less use? Says who? Watch hkim play--the Chargers are crazy to take him off the field. All he does is make plays.

Lesser players get less usage. Well coached teams don't sit great talents like Ekeler. The last guy that did this was in KC with Jamal Charles and that dude got shit canned real quick. Sorry Romeo but you were not a HC.
i presume standard means non PPR?
djm : 8/10/2022 2:52 pm : link
then I probably go Henry.

I am keeping Chase with a 5th. I’m picking 4th in a 12 team league and am hoping Jefferson slips to me in round 1. It’s PPR so having both Chase and Jefferson would be a hell of a start. I’m afraid of drafting RB’s high after getting burned by CMC and Henry in consecutive years.

I still prefer RB early because there is better value at WR once you get past the third or fourth round. The pickings get slim pretty early at the RB position.

If you decide to do 0 RB there are players you can throw darts on that are going later... pollard, hunt, rhamondre, edmonds etc. If you're starting w 3-4 strong receivers, te and qb, those can get you enough production

That’s my thought on this years draft as well. I figure if I have Jefferson with my 1st and Chase as the 5th round keeper I’ll wait and see who is still there with the 9th pick in the second round. This league is RB nuts so I’m thinking there’s a possibility that Deebo, Lamb, Adams, or Diggs could fall in my lap there. I would take them in a heartbeat as a flex. If they are not there I’ll probably go Josh Allen and grab RB’s in round 3 and 4.

I’d consider taking a TE at 3 or 4 but my draft position is too high in round 3 to take someone like Pitts, Waller, or Kittle. And by the time I pick in the back half of round 4 those guys are likely gone. Probably sit tight and hope a guy like Goedert falls to late round 6.
Think twice about that
Carl in CT : 8/10/2022 9:37 pm : link
Do some mock drafts. kelce in round two and Andrew’s in early 3 and your team will have a huge advantage. Trust me. They will put up WR numbers and the delta is big to most teams.
Oh read
Carl in CT : 8/10/2022 9:38 pm : link
It wrong. You didn’t say them
I have Jonathan Taylor
pjcas18 : 8/11/2022 8:50 am : link
in the 4th for my final year keeping him.

So, I plan to avoid RB2 until the 3rd at least (seeing how the draft plays out).

my goal (picking 12th/13th) is WR/WR or TE there hoping for Davante Adams/Travis Kelce. PPR league

I'm curious to see how Adams does.
robbieballs2003 : 8/11/2022 10:10 am : link
A big portion of Adams' points were TDs. TDs are nearly impossible to predict but with Adams he was so consistent in that area. I don't think it'll be the same in Vegas. I expect a decline for him. I am not sure where I'd put him though.

Agree. I still have him at WR5.

Cupp
Jefferson
Chase
Diggs

then I have Adams

Jefferson, Chase and Diggs are all keepers, as are Lamb and Deebo.

So, even with the dropoff in offense, I still think if I can get him at 12 it's a good pick. I think he may be gone though by 12 and I wind up at 12 with someone like Mike Evans.

Definitely.
robbieballs2003 : 8/11/2022 10:18 am : link
And this isn't just Adams going to a random place. He is reunited with his college QB. Carr will get him the ball. I just don't know if it'll be like Rodgers. Vegas has more options than GB has had. I think he's still a very safe play/pick.

The Adams trade creates uncertainty for three different high end players: Adams, Waller, and Aaron Rodgers (not to mention Hunter Renfrow). Hard to put a fantasy value on them, but you gotta anticipate none living up to past production given their new situation. I expect Waller to continue to shine, but I won't touch Adams any earlier 15-20, and not sure what to make of Aaron Rodgers this year.
In a 12-team, 1/2 PPR league with no keepers...
Milton : 8/11/2022 12:04 pm : link
What do you consider to be the best draft slot? Is Jonathan Taylor worth waiting until picks #24 and #25 for your next two selections? Is #5-#7 the sweet spot that gives you excellent value with your first two selections and makes for a good opportunity to take a top QB in round three (without having to reach)? If you could pick your draft position, what would it be?

I think Taylor stands out when it comes to the top of the board in 1/2 PPR, but I see a gap between him and the #2 pick (where there is no consensus), so I wouldn't mind having the first pick, but short of that, I would prefer being in the 5-7 range.
