NFT: Cigar Smokers.. smoke anything good lately?

Stuff hasn’t been the same since they were sold IMO. I get a lot of stuff from Dunbarton, Caldwell, Eroia, and Crowed Heads. From those blenders, I like Sobresma and Sobresma Brûlée, The King is Dead, Eroia the last 20 years, and Mil Dias.

Expensive but a treat.

I always love to light up after a Giants win......I have not done much smoking in the last 6 or 7 years.

Mil Dias 5 packs were on sale from Cigarpage last week for I think $17. I picked up quite a few. Another good one.

Just smoked a Partagas Serie P no 2 that I picked up 3 years ago. Wonderful cigar. They're available in box of 10 or 25. Obscenely expensive but I may go for it anyhow. Wife and I are going to Barcelona in a few weeks and if I understand correctly it's now legal to bring in some cubans so I may check the prices at the Habanos store there.

But mostly I smoke non cubans. I'm working my way through a box of Tatuaje El Triunfadore lanceros they are pretty amazing. Just smoked my last Illusione Epernay sorry to run out of those. My current favorite reasonably priced cigar is the Oliva Serie O.
Only a few months of cigar season left I don't smoke when it gets cold out.

Has been my go to the price is right for a great stick.
Also Joya Silver is another and smoking my way through Roma Craft line must are strong smokes.
I smoke 2 a day so I try and stay in the $8 to $12 a stick.

I second the Joya Silver recommendation, I bought a box and handed a few out to friends, all were impressed.

I do agree that the Liga #9 is one of the best smokes out there. I put it up there with Padron 1926 Serie as the best I've smoked.

Last night I enjoyed a Nica Rustica short robusto for a quick chill by the pool. It was good, but as someone said above, DE smokes haven't been the same since they were sold.

One of my other favorites is La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor. I think I'm down to my last 2 of those so I save them for when I have the right drink to pair it with. Usually some Knob Creek or Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. Ahhhhh, now I can't wait to get home.

I think the undercrown 10 year is a phenomenal smoke and bought 3 cases over the last 4 or 5 months also love the Liga 9 but I prefer the flying pig.
The Plasencia Alma fuerto is on the Liga 9 level too.

I smoked one a couple months ago in Tampa the draw was bad.
For $65 I expected more next time I will smoke 3 Liga privada's

I haven't tried the Corojo yet. I did have the Triple Maduro by Camacho. That was a good smoke.
