Y’all keep thinking Taylor is going to start over DJ, it’s not going to happen. He was brought in as the backup and that’s what he shall remain throughout the season unless DJ gets hurt. Accept it and move on, stop beating a dead horse with wishful thinking, it’s not going to happen, end of story
ehh.. it could happen. It's Daniel Jones, not Bart Starr.
Tyrod Taylor has been in for half a series and already looks better than Daniel Jones!
Two's playing against two's...Not One's..
Oh well, blame everything on Jones..#15 fumbled the ball after a catch & run..Jones should get the blame..RIGHT ??????
Lmaooooo!!! The DJ defenders worst argument yet!!! DJ didn't even throw that pass to #15... that was Tyrod! Lol
His post went right over your head.
Lol I guess so, nice job
RE: Still don't understand why there's pushback against a Giants QB
It is not against Tyrod. It is the relentless diatribes on Jones. He was fine while in. Taylor has been just a good and bad. He looks smoother but certainly makes bad throws as often as good ones. Too early to start the crap that we all have to weed through.
Daniel can't zip it into a tight window like Tyrod can... so he's scared to throw it and he holds onto the football for way too long.
DJ zipped it right in there to our best WR...and it got dropped...on the 2 yard line..
True. He missed a couple easy ones also and held the ball too long a couple times instead of trying to make a play. Tyrod did the opposite IMO. Good and bad from both. Neither looked great honestly, I just think Tyrod might fit the offense better. Quick passing game. Get the ball to Toney, Wandale, Saquon and Shep when he gets back. Golladay is shot.
and Gilbert are UDFA rookies in their first preseason game. Too early to draw any conclusions about them. I'd also rather keep them than a veteran if they show anything. This is a rebuilding year.
offensive execution hasn't been bad at all. Speaks volumes about the coaching. Players are prepared and know what they are supposed to do. refreshing!!
I can’t remember when our Oline back ups looked competent in pre-season. It’s been a while. I recall our back up QBs running for their lives in pre-season games previously. Anyway, we’ll see, as there’s still 2 more games to see them in action.

sarcasm. Guys are where they are supposed to be on defense. General execution on offense doesn't look bad. All evidence of competent coaching. this team still needs a lot of talent, but this coaching staff may get a hell of lot more out of what we do have, than has been the case for quite awhile.
But this is the most I have seen this team compete. Does not matter 1st, 2nd or 3rd stringers. They are playing hard, effort and technique is there. Coaching is showing up with there play.

Guy is made of glass. Too bad. Ezeudu going to take his spot and run with it.
Iam so sick of people who bitch about players getting hurt.
Seriously shut the fuck up.
You mean the QB guru club. Rule of thumb with most of that club is go the opposite direction.
Agreed...

All running hard
Thought he was having a solid camp?
Carl, how you doing?
I believe that is the story of the night. The OL looks like it might have a chance to hold up.

Running backs look good.
Bredeson looks good at center.
OL second team looks competent
Played 1st qtr
The player I thought looked good not getting a lot of mention is Flott. He has been very solid.

He’s been playing outside too when I thought he was a nickel. If Robinson continues to struggles - he may be thrown into the fire.
Someone must be coaching

Giants announce that OL Jamil Douglas is out with an ankle injury.

The blocking upfront has been better up and down the line.

Agree on Flott. He’s looked very fluid and knows where to be. I also liked Davidson and Beavers (obviously) out of the rookies.
giants16, why not week 1? Who says no? I'll lay you a quid. (:
