NFT: Saw Metallica last night

Highmark Stadium In Buffalo with Greta Van Fleet. I saw them probably 15 times in the 80s and 90s but not since 98 or so. Jesus, these guys still kick ass. A little over two hours and blew the place away.

If they come around your are, highly recommend!

and I was blown away by how great they are live. I remember watching Slayer's set and thinking there was no way Metallica would top it...they did and then some. Truly great live band. Much of the crap people talk about Lars is unwarranted.

i saw Rage at MSG last night. Item on my Bucket list...checked off. They were fucking awesome. MSG crowd standing ovation for like 5 minutes

...I too saw them a in the 80s and 90s. They Completely kicked ass, it may have been the best time I've seen them (including with Cliff on MOP show... well maybe not as good as that...)

Cliff died about 3 months or so before that concert. MOP tour. Metal church opened up.

I still remember seeing some dude in the bathroom (capital theater was a dump too) literally slouch/hugging a urinal in the beginning of the show before Metallica went on. There he was....dead to the world. And he was still there at the end of the concert some 2 hours or so later...hugging that same urinal.

my 23rd show overall with my first being Summer Sanitarium in 04 with Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Deftones and Mudvayne.

Still an awesome live band and can't wait for my next one lol.

scene in stranger things with Master of puppets is effin wild. So wild it put the song back on the top 10 on Spotify.

Metallica has become my lifting/gym anthem every dam time.

Will def attempt to see them again this year.

They just announced as part of the

Lineup for Global citizens fest in Central park in September. Definitely going to check them out

haha always wondered what happened to that guy. He's probably a pillar of our society today.

There’s nothing in music like a stadium metal show. The music. The lights. The pyro. The lasers. The crowd. Just fucking awesome.
