to figure out which RB they'll cut. They all looked promising to me. I especially liked what I saw out of Brightwell. Kind of stunning that he only had one carry last year.

Obvi they're going to keep Saquon and Breida. I'm not the biggest roster construction guy; can they keep Brightwell and Williams too? Might be hard to keep 4 RBs on the roster, but again, that's not my forte.

It depends on whether they keep a FB and/or 4TE's. It's hard to imagine then carrying four TE's with the lack of talent at the position but we might see them add 1-2 on waivers on cut down day. If they do keep 4 RB's the locks are Barkley and Breida but I would also prefer to see them keep Antonio Williams and Corbin. Stash Brightwell on the PS. I seriously doubt that any team will claim him. Corbin has proven that he can also return kicks which adds value plus he is a better runner and receiver than Brightwell.

Health and special teams are the important factors for backup RB. Maybe the cheapest contract too. Brightwell is a good special team player.

I think Corbin and Williams will go to the Practice Squad. Brightwell looked excellent. Saw his lanes, stuck with them and got the tough yards. I was most impressed on the run that got blown up in the backfield, but he fought to get the ball back to the line of scrimmage. I think he just offers something that compliments Barkley and Breida more. I like the depth at this unit though, OL run blocking looks years improved over last year.
both last year and this year. Don't forget, apparently Brightwell had some kind of amazing special teams ability they talked about when drafted. May give him the edge.

Maybe worth going 4 RBs and 2 TEs or something like that with the bums at TE.
But I’m not sure they keep 4. Does he play ST? If so, then Corbin may make it.

Breida
Williams
IMHO, Corbin is indeed a better RB than Brightwell, but I don’t know their respective status regarding Specials, which could well be the decisive factor.
But from a pure RB skills perspective, I believe there is more subtlety to Corbin’s game!
…under the cap? Geez the endless injuries just make it all seem hopeless. Maybe that’s why Daboll seems depressed. He’s never seen the curse like this team has lived with for 15 years.

Totally not a Preseason game 1 overreaction.

I'm excited to see Corbin---Brightwell, not so much.
