There have been mixed reports on how’s he’s doing in camp but did you see this block yesterday to spring the RB for a big gain? Good stuff.

Bavaro, Boss, Ballard, and now Bellinger!

Killer bee's! Let's hope he measures up tho those guys, especially Bavaro!
While in last night poor fellow was holding

almost every play until the ref said enough....need Hall to switch to TE he's just as big as Bellinger and a better player in my eyes.
Way too passive at this point.

Did Hall play last night? Don't see him in the box score.

Yes, normally very sure-handed, he dropped a pass.

Everyone played except those I listed in my game write-up.

Was nice. Hope we get more chances to see what he can do.

He’s not as big as Bellinger. He’s three inches shorter and a bit lighter as well. And I’m an OU fan but that’s doesn’t seem like a solution unless you know something the coaches don’t. They were looking at a 6’2” 220 lb WR as a TE over Hall.

Did you happen to catch the TE block on the Williams TD? Watch #46 ( Allen) sealed his side and allowed Williams to get through.
Don’t know if Allen has a chance but that was an effective block.
Bellinger was known as a good blocker in college
Simms11 : 8/13/2022 8:30 am : link
and so I think that skill will develop more in the pros. We have to give him some time. The guys a rookie for goodness sakes. Will he be our answer at TE? Only time will tell, but to me he seems like he’s going to be dependable.
I was a little underwhelmed by Bellinger
Matt M. : 8/13/2022 8:52 am : link
But, as a rookie, that doesn't really concern yet. It was his first game as a pro.
As Sy'56 noted after the draft:

He will likely be a year two guy at earliest because he had a hard time with defensive linemen in the Mountain West. I think NFL guys will eat him early on.

Let's not forget that Bellinger has been pressed into service because of RSJ's mystery ailment. I still have high hopes for the kid, but I think we ought to expect some growing pains while he works to improve his technique and his strength at the point-of-attack.
Bellinger is the Tight End folks. This is what you get
Jimmy Googs : 8/13/2022 8:59 am : link
when an entire roster unit is put under the responsibility of a moron GM like Gettleman.

Actually wish Schoen put 2 Tight Ends on the roster from this past Draft. Certainly could have fit them in and the supply was there...
