Wilson injury happened on Jets' second possession. On first possession, he threw a really awful INT. Rough night for him and good news for Jets' haters.
Bad news is that Eagles' starters looked pretty good, even considering the opposition. Hurts 6-6 on his only drive, 80 yards for TD.
A "highlight" of that drive was Nick Sirianni screaming obscenities at Robert Saleh after a Jets' LB hit Hurts out of bounds, very late and very high.

yes - i'd say about 80-90% of the time he's right.

I'm glad the Giants added Tyrod for this reason. I can't do another year of guys like Glennon or Fromm if Jones has to miss any time. It's just totally unwatchable football.

I’m one, even started a Davis thread or two…got a lot of “he’ll get gassed every other play”, and “Mekhi Becton blah blah”…that said, I do like Thibs. At this juncture.
Why? Not even the Jets themselves think they are competing for the playoffs this season. What’s the purpose of bringing JG in?
They absolutely do. The coach and gm will be on the hot seat if they stink (again), at least if Wilson was healthy.
This is simply not true. Saleh has been there all of one season and the owner loves him. He’s been very forthcoming about their expectations and the need for patience during this process
Douglas has won a total of 6 games in his first two full years. If they win 3-4 games this year there’s no way they bring him back and if you fire him you’re firing his handpicked coach too. That’s the way it works in the NFL

Literally when they signed Duane Brown, my friend who is Jets fan said Joe Douglas is so smart he replaced a bad RT with a good one...conpletely ignoring that Douglas wiffed on a top 10 pick
