I believe this is the LAST official training camp practice (i.e., open to the public). Sy'56 is going to be at practice tomorrow. But I think this is it for non-media.
Let's see if they give us a nice physical practice for the last open practice or if they give us a walk through... I hope we practice 3rd & long as it would be nice to see the passing game at work to get my final live impressions of DJ, Tyrod and the rest. Won't see them live until week 2. Got to be there for the home opener. It's the only time the home crowd feels like a home crowd since we've been done by October as of lately.

I wonder if they still don't have a diagnosis on Lemieux, or if Daboll is just being cagey. If they are back in the market for OG depth, it would make sense to downplay the injury.

I always find it fascinating with guys like Lemieux. Basically didn’t miss a snap in college and can’t play a game in the NFL without getting banged up.
RE: … this team changes regimes, it simply can't stay healthy
Ronnie Barnes still heading up medical department?
John Mara’s “thumb on the scale” in terms of an honest assessment of Barnes and his department?
This is on Joe Schoen, not Ronnie Barnes. Schoen is in charge of changing the medical team. If he took the job and Mara said he couldn’t, then Schoen is an idiot for taking the job. The Mara’s can take care of Ronnie (who I know is like family) without keeping him in charge and Schoen shouldn’t be dumb enough to take a job where that can’t change. So, I assume Schoen wants Ronnie to lead medical

Kayvon Thibodeaux just followed Daniel Bellinger in motion and then played him in man coverage on a passing play. Also just saw Dexter Lawrence as a standup pass rusher in the A gap.
So, Toney is still not practicing and isn't expected to this week - if he does, it'll be later in the week. But I'm sure it's just much ado about nothing.
how many times this team changes regimes, it simply can't stay healthy.
The volume of injuries seemIngly on a yearly basis is exasperating. I know injuries are a big part of this game, but when the same team year in and year out seems to have higher % of injuries than the norm, there is cause for some type of re-evaluation.
That isn’t dealing with injuries this time of year. It’s not the medical staff; it’s the sport.
Surely you understand there's variance here. Just because every team has injuries doesn't mean every team has the same amount or has been hit with equal severity.
This has been a pretty major issue for the Giants for quite some time now.
I think we can stop trying to minimize it or pretend it's just run-of-the-mill stuff.

It’s not season ending. Let him be ready in 4 weeks. Not happy with these little injuries but he isn’t the only one banged up. U see to injury list?
To do any reasonable analysis, obviously one would have separate things like muscle pulls, strains, etc. from things like ligament tears, concussions, fractures etc.
One would assume (hope?) that all teams do analysis like this, given the money/salary cap space that can be eaten up by injuries, especially those considered "avoidable".
