Some familiar names ... I count at least 5 with previous ties to the Giants ... and this is just the first round of activity by the Turk. Link - ( New Window )
I think he had a rep as a fumbler, but I thought he had fixed that problem. Nice stats with the Eagles except for the fumbles. No fumbles last season with the Ravens. Limited carries.
TE Jalen Wydermyer was released by Buffalo already. This time last year he was considered the top TE in the draft and a 1st round pick.
He sort of crashed and burned his senior season, for whatever reason. Not a surprise he didn't stick. I haven't seen him but it sound like his heart really isn't in it.
Ross Cockrell was released from Tampa, I would take a flyer on him. He's exactly the type of CB we need to shore up the depth in the secondary.
I liked Ross when he was here, but why bring in veterans for depth when we’re not winning anything this year anyway? Play the young guys, and if there is room on the depth chart, bring in more young guys that could develop and be part of the future.
Sometimes “unproven” becomes better than those that have proven to be meh.
I suppose none are better then what we’ve got however.
They have Bellinger and no one else especially with Miller injured.
I think I would wait until final cuts for a TE. I was going over the depth charts around the league just to see if I recognized any old faces from Giants past, and it seems most teams are currently carrying between 5 and 7 TE's, which tells me there are gonna be a good number of unemployed TE's come final cut day.
Also John Rysen, the big TE a lot of BBI liked here last season, was cut
Not only that, but it was OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr. a lineman!

Yep! What's up Fat Man?
Is he hurt?
They're cutting Brett Hundley.

My bad. Thanks, Toth.
