Q: How do you feel?

A: I feel good, I'm ready to go. I'm ready to go for Week 1.

Q: Do you worry at all not having had as many reps as you would like?

A: No, not really but I mean at the end of the day there's nothing really I could do about that. I can just be where I can and do what I can when I can.

Q: Was there any doubt in your mind here as you were dealing with this that you'd be ready for Week 1?

A: Not really. It's just all a mentality. At the end of the day, whatever you want to get done, is going to get done.

Q: What were you dealing with? Leg type of injury separate from the knee thing?

A: Can't really get into detail, you've got to ask (Head Coach Brian) Dabs (Daboll) or somebody. But like I said I'm ready to go for Week 1.

Q: Safe to say your knee is good?

A: Hey, I'm ready to go. I'm ready, I've been ready.

Q: Can you repeat everything?

A: (Laughs) I'm good. I'm ready for Week 1.

Q: Has this summer been frustrating for you? Considering you put in the work in the offseason trying to get back for day one, then you kind of ended up on the sideline again.

A: Yeah, I mean it's just all adversity. It's all about how you get through. It's a mindset, a mentality thing. I feel good to be back though.

Q: There are people who look at you and say, 'He couldn't stay on the field the first year.' What makes you think it's going to be different this year?

A: Football is unpredictable so you can't ever really say what's going to happen or what's not going to happen. You can get hurt running routes on air out there. It's not really hard to get hurt. But it's just all about taking care of your body, all about recovery. So, I'll just have to do a better job of doing that.

Q: What do you think this offense can do with your new coaching staff and system?

A: I feel like the offense is going to be pretty good. We've just got to lock in, all 11 need to play as one.

Q: How eager are you to put last season behind you?

A: It's already behind me. I never really thought about it past the last game. I've just had an always move forward mentality. Just ready for Week 1 right now.

Q: What are your expectations for yourself this year?

A: I don't really set goals, but I expect to do better than I did last year I guess you could say.

Q: In what regards? Does that mean staying healthy, catches, your game?

A: Nothing specific. Just in general. Just try to get a better mindset.

Q: Do you feel much different now than you did a year ago? Just with knowing what to expect and things like that?

A: It's always good to know what to expect but I feel pretty good. Just making it to this level I feel pretty good. Just all about getting better everyday and putting it on film.

Q: You not playing in any practice games here, is that a concern? Or are you like, 'a games a game,' and you're ready to go?

A: At the end of the day, I've got to be available when my number is called. I'm just ready.

Q: Guys play in practice games for a reason, you didn't have those reps. Is that going to affect you at all do you think in a week and a half in Nashville?

A: Only time will tell. We feel pretty good about everything right now, so we're just trying to move forward right now.

Q: Do you feel like you've mastered this playbook?

A: Yeah, I feel like I've got a lot down. Especially with moving around and stuff like that. I feel pretty good.
