This happens multiple times every game. He can’t read a defense or see the field. He can only execute what he is told to very mechanically.
The offense and it's inability to do anything is going to leave this defense hung out to dry.
Not going to say crazy shit or overreact but Jones definitely just doesn't have the IT factor. I begin to worry that a guy used to losing (even in college) just never can get to the point where they bring a sense of " I've got this" to the team. Instead it is more a feeling of happiness at some good plays and a lot of expecting something bad!

This was the play Daniel Jones didn't see David Sills (13) down left sideline. Could have been a TD. Protection was OK on the play, but perhaps the result of the relentless pressure Jones has faced so far.
We have hope of solid bookend tackles and a disruptive defensive lineman. That’s essential it for the entire roster long term. I say keep playing Daniel Jones until and after the wheels fall off. We could desperately use a top 3 pick. It ain’t gonna happen this year on the field, obviously.

This is a veteran Tennessee team that has postseason goals. Not sure what you expected from a rebuilding Giants team with an unclear QB situation and an OL full of kids.
Are they better then last years line, Yea, but still a work in progress. Feliciano and Bredeson have not been good at all! Jones looks the same with this line and offense. I don’t see any progress from him as a QB. We’re definitely going to be in the QB hunt next off-season. I wishI was wrong, but he just doesn’t seem like he gets it. Eli also didn’t have great lines every year, but he made plays on offense. Enough to score points.

The OL can't block. Simmons has totally owned Bredeson and Ezeudu. He's either beating them with speed or walking them back into Jones. The Titans are getting pressure with four or five and dropping six or seven into coverage. I didn't see them blitzing much.
Our WRs scare no one. Nobody cares about Shepard, Golladay, Toney, Sills, or Bellinger. And now WR is out. Everything is a flare or dump off, usually to Barkley.

Every hand off to Barkley was obvious and he made great cuts for good yardage and showed burst. He looked better than ok

Follows instructions. If his instructed play is on, he looks totally fine. If its not he either fucks up or checks down. He does not read the field. He cannot improvise. This is who he has always been and will always be.

No its not. Barkley ran the right route. It was too late for a back shoulder pass, the DB had already turned back towards the QB. HE needed to either 1) throw it earlier as a back shoulder fade, 2) lead Barkley, or 3) make a different decision

No that's a fact. The numbers in 2021 confirm Jones holds the ball longer than at least half the league, an din that time, he is giving you the production you see. He holds the ball too long, because he doesn't see the field.

The fumble and the deflection result of Ezeudu and Brederson. Left guard is going to be an issue for a while, especially against a guy like Simmons.

Daniel Jones just didn;t see David Sills WIDE open uncovered down the left sideline. Sills was waving for the ball. Broken coverage. Jones checked down to Saquon Barkley for four yards on first down.
Another three and out.
Fumbling and injury problems aside, this is the real unforgivable sin for Jones.
This happens multiple times every game. He can’t read a defense or see the field. He can only execute what he is told to very mechanically.
Not going to say crazy shit or overreact but Jones definitely just doesn't have the IT factor. I begin to worry that a guy used to losing (even in college) just never can get to the point where they bring a sense of " I've got this" to the team. Instead it is more a feeling of happiness at some good plays and a lot of expecting something bad!

Jones still has no field vision, and is constantly afraid of being hit. Daboll won't bench him today, but at some point Taylor will likely have to play.
The OL can't block. Simmons has totally owned Bredeson and Ezeudu. He's either beating them with speed or walking them back into Jones. The Titans are getting pressure with four or five and dropping six or seven into coverage. I didn't see them blitzing much.
Our WRs scare no one. Nobody cares about Shepard, Golladay, Toney, Sills, or Bellinger. And now WR is out. Everything is a flare or dump off, usually to Barkley.
No pass rush, which maybe isn't unexpected given that KT and AO are out.
Bad punt coverage.
I have a difficult time believing that even a small portion of NFL decision makers dump Jones after his rookie season.

Why? We are 30 minutes into a completely uncompetitive season. The FO wasn't even trying to win this year. All they did was build for the future and deal with as many Gettleman mistakes as possible. To be fair, the entire point of having pass rushers is to speed up the QBs clock and cause mistakes. That’s how you beat good QBs. It’s hard to develop a QB under these conditions.

No its not. Barkley ran the right route. It was too late for a back shoulder pass, the DB had already turned back towards the QB. HE needed to either 1) throw it earlier as a back shoulder fade, 2) lead Barkley, or 3) make a different decision
