Lol you’re on fire today. The guy who says he’s glad we didn’t give up on Toomer, hates Toomer.
Gold.
Anyone who thinks that Toney belongs in the same conversation as Toomer as anything other than a contrast is sullying Toomer's name whether they realize it or not.

He wasn’t a real contributor until his 4th season.
Well, that's something to look forward to 2.5 years from now with Toney...
Well I personally am glad we didn’t give up on Toomer early.
The difference is Toomer still contributed and played very well as a returner. He was also available in games. And once he began starting games as a WR he became very impactful.
What’s holding back chucklehead now that he found the correct size cleats?
and Toney has already produced more in the receiving game than Toomer did his first 2 seasons.
Toomer produced more all-around.
Toney of course could pass him by in year 2. But that would require him to, you know...play.
And sure enough Toney is 'questionable' on the Injury Report today
People don't understand football at all. it's a strategy game. Less tape teams have the better. I expect Tony to have a few games where he's the lead target once he's back and teams aren't ready for it

Both dealt with injuries early in their career.

blow out his knee (ACL tear) 7 games into his rookie year? Hardly an appropriate comparison over the first two years of a career.
Both dealt with injuries early in their career.
Yeah, but one of them got over it and pursued his career in football.
The other guy just likes being called 'questionable'...

Totally.
