The NFL trade deadline is still a bit far out, with Nov. 1 circled on plenty of fans’ calendars. Leading up to that day, we’re going to see plenty of rumors and speculation brought up. Could things once again include New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney? Rumors and speculation indeed followed him this offseason, but the G-Men kept him in East Rutherford.
Now, though, there’s plenty of frustration for Toney, as he can’t seem to stay on the field. On top of that, he wasn’t used much in the Week 1 win over Tennessee and people are now waiting to see if he’ll even take the field this Sunday at MetLife Stadium going up against Baker Mayfield and the Carolina Panthers. |
take him.
I'll take a late 6th rounder.
Coach class...
take him.
I'll take a late 6th rounder.
There's not liking a player and then there's this.
but because they can't this one will go to die in the graveyard of not so great or well thought out ideas that somehow still found the light of day.
They don't have a clue.
Neither do any of us but we know he isn't blowing it up on the field right now because of his performance in practice and possibly attitude. Somehow Rodgers and Green Bay solve that.
most absurd thing I have ever heard.

"Effective" only matters if you play.
I'm not sure if this is sarcasm because Rodgers is a shit leader. His inability to be a leader is his achilles heal and the thing that Brady has over him in spades.
Buddy Ryan? C'mon man.

they could make it work and get Toney in line. For a good part of one season with a little bit of luck.

Ask Adams, Jordy and Cobb if he’s a leader. If you are going to pull the Brady card that means every other QB is a bad leader, right?

Ability and effectiveness is the most important leadership quality. Rah rah talking is the most unimportant part.

I don't think bringing up Brady in this context is referring to "rah rah talking" but more to things like putting time in with his receivers in the offseason.
That’s ridiculous. So KG and Toney are purposely digging it because of Jones? Lol.
You don’t give up quickly on talent.
The same meme and coach and moment that saw Philly prematurely trade Cris Carter to the Vikings?

"I'm standing in front of a burning house and offering you fire insurance."
Someone needs to post a gif of jazz getting tossed out of the banks home on the fresh prince because I don’t know how😝
But I'm not interested in trading him away for garbage.
To me, he's definitely shown some more maturity in dealing with the press.
So, I'll hang on to that and hope Daboll can get through to him.
I'd take a 2nd.
You also won't have a covnersation with that ask since everybody will laugh and hang up.

My point is that you don't start a conversation asking for what you want. If they're calling, the Giants have leverage.
