Not capitalizing on a TD off those first two turnovers is how you lose games.
but he has an 81% comp pct.
Why are you dogging him? It's not one bit his fault that we have only 6 points. He's done his part why you are so intent on pushing your negative agenda about him is really odd
RE: RE: Just horrible play calling in the red zone..
play calling. Much too conservative, predictable, and horizontal. Too many first down runs to Barkley and screens and sweeps to Toney. That's exactly what the Panthers expect.
We need three or four downs to go 10 yards. That is hard to do in one drive let alone throughout the entire game. We're not even trying for a big play.
But it felt like they got a little too cute there. Seems like the Giants don’t want to threaten over the top but maybe thats due to starting on a short field twice.
Carolina selling out on the run when under center, gotta work in PA.
Yup agreed
I’ll say this - happy to see Jones protect the ball and not risk any fumbles or interceptions
Looked like a quick three step drop back to me and him expecting the ball out quick.
I’m not crazy about that type of play call down close to the goal. Too close of quarters for that imo.

Agree.
Playcalling? Neal got straight up beat on his block and Luvu was completely unblocked. You think that was a called play and not execution?
We're winning.
Anyone known he was going to yell at, I think it was about the receivers not knowing where to be

Yeh well he had one shot on a 3rd and long goal and his RT got pantsed with no real red zone weapons.
Dudes making good decisions and is throwing at Drew Brees type clip.
There will be no pleasing some of you.
lol.. yea it was just like I was watching Drew Brees. lol
Nothing new

Two turnovers and we only have six points.
If you see the team is confused...why not a call a TO?

Ha ha, cue the idiotic posts. How was any of that Jones's fault?
nothing is Jones' fault.. He's Teflon Danny...
You didn't answer his question, why?
We're winning.
Should be up by at least 10

are you watching the game? it's all 2 to 4 yd passes..
Bingo
Open in end zone?
He misses open plays all the time.
It's tiresome.

like Jones had someone over the middle and Shepard in the corner of the end zone on that third down play.

It is. Jones can't be the starter here next year.

"Throw the ball downfield even if there are no deep routes "
Carolina was sitting back with two safeties until we got Inside of the 20. All of the routes were shorter due to what the defense was giving us.
I suppose we could have forced the ball downfield. It sounds like that is what some people here would want
Two reasons for not punching it in. Offensive line and play calling
Yeah F him
Open in end zone?
Jones would have had to lead him to the rear pylon as Shep had two DBs bearing down on him underneath, but worth a shot
And get a 100 million dollar check too
