Jones is turning out to be the kind of a guy who is going to limit a lot of what you can do offensively, but also brings some winning qualities to the position like his mobility.

I’m thrilled to be 2-0 and also don’t know how you can invest big bucks in him.

I’m a Jones guy and was really pulling for him but it’s real money now and he’s not consistent enough for it sorry but it is what it is and that simple

to hang in there, which will put you in most games. Still an unimpressive roster. Winning games is tough, you have to focus on the play at hand, not the last play or the play coming up.

So, it's definitely noteworthy that they actually did it today. Carolina isn't exactly the worst team on the planet with CMC.

and I think it might have some merit. For now, this team has a 1997 feel to it. A team just figuring out how to win games with timely play by all three aspects - offense, defense, and special teams.

I don't mind winning ugly. I mind ugly losses.

Roster is unimpressive and there were several injuries as well.

On the post game they were saying how TC used to say games are lost more frequently than they’re won in the NFL. The Giants didn’t beat the Giants today. Which is great. Is this team calls the game to win, they don’t play ‘not to lose’. You can feel it as a fan and it’s so much more fun to watch.

Nah. It’s that many of the young players are getting better and, in game, the team is gradually executing better as the contest goes on. Coaches who know what their doing and can think on their feet. You can feel it.

this team doesn’t have enough talent to win “pretty”. Winning “ugly” works for me!

Games like this are how you change your culture. It's how players start buying in and start believing in the process. We don't have the horses to compete with the heavyweights yet, but the quality of the coaching so far is noticeably better and it's clear that Schoen has a much better handle on the personnel.

Winning these close games is so important for a young team. It gives them confidence and something to build off.

We have a lot to be happy about so far.
