When the Giants were interviewing Adam Peters for the GM role there was some whispers he’d bring along McDaniels as the coach. So, I’ve been sort of interested to see how he’d do.
Looks like he’s the goods too! I’m happy with Schoen / Daboll but it seems like they would have been ok going in that direction too (based on early results).

The Dolphins field-stretching receivers forced the Ravens secondary to cover a lot of ground...
Ravens defensive backs traveled a total of 6,131 yards on pass plays over the course of the game, the most by a DB group in a game since the start of last season.

I don't want to take away from his performance, but he's had good time to throw, and he's throwing to receivers who are creating significant separation.

I would have been fine with Peters/McDaniel, but I think Schoen/Daboll was always going to be the favorite. Felt like the safer choice especially with the background of McDaniel.

Hill/Waddle is probably the fastest actually skilled WR duo I’ve ever seen. Scary speed.
Tua chucks a couple of passes that you think is a duck but ends up being a 30yd completion.

I agree. Going Peters/Mac would have really been out of the box for Mara, especially McDaniel.
I'm not knocking the results for Tua. But it's really unusual in the NFL to be throwing passes to players getting that much separation.

Well that’s how it works - when a QB gets time to throw and has good skill position players, they can put up a lot of points.
